Welcome to the annual Premium Beef Bull Sale here in the heart
of Manitoba cattle country. This is one of the longest running bull
sales in Manitoba with the core group of breeders staying the
same since the sales inception. This annual event is held in the
Beautiful Plains Ag building in Neepewa.

This year as I sit down to write sales management comments I
think back over the last 10 years how much the cattle industry has
been through and how families have had to buckle down and be
strong to survive. That true grit will power has put us in the place
we are today and wow it was worth the wait! We are now in a time
with record high prices and great demand! It will be a joy for our
great commercial customers to purchase the bull of their choice
this year with the optimism of great years to come.

Every year I write this for Premium Beef I usually break it down by
consignors and say a little bit about each one. That’s not going to
happen this year. Collectively Schweitzer Simmentals, Northern
Light Simmentals, Twin Brae Simmentals, Workman Farms, RKT
Simmentals, Pizzey Simmentals/Foxy Lady Cattle Co, Berts NR
Simmentals have wowed myself and Darren! This is bar none
the greatest set of bulls ever offered in this sale! We have seen
great commercial and elite Breeder Bulls at every one of these
operations.
Over the last 3 years Premium Beef has become a sale that has
had a bunch of attention nation wide and I truly believe with the
quality on offer this year this will become a North American wide
event! With nearly 100 bulls on offer the drive will be worth it. This
sale will have a great selection of every strain of Simmental from
a group of long standing Manitoba breeders. Herd bull shopping
time is here and this set of bulls will be ready to go to work for
you as soon as the gavel drops.

-He is the result of the mating between Romano x Jahari, Full Fleck breeding and a solid
polled, black NAC Tanner cow, genetics that clicked amazingly.
-A bull that ranked 2nd for weaning in the bull pen showing us he was no slouch.
-“Black Lightning” had an 82lb birth weight and still went on to excel in performance. He
is above average in almost all areas of his EPDs.

This would be one of our feature solid red bulls. Tons of performance in a
moderate package. He’s a bull that needs to be seen to be appreciated for
his big middle, hip, depth, top, loose made and tremendous hair coat along
with what looks to be very large testicles. 17B has a temperament second to
none, a real breeder bull prospect. Dam is moderate framed, good uddered
with small teats. She has a full brother on the ground and he is showing a
lot of promise already. Glenn’s comment when he saw 17B was “Oh my!”

Arthur is a moderate birth weight bull with extra depth and thickness. He
has had the herdbull look from a very young age. We showed him at both
Ag Ex and Ag Days Bull Congress. He is super quiet
and is ‘kid broke’ - my 5 year old nephew, Carter, has
tortured Arthur with combs, blowers and showsticks!

and big hip. We have raised a lot of good sons of Trustin over the years but I think 47B is my

sold to Kevin Smith in Ontario a few years back that was admired by many at that sale. 59B’s

Terms & Conditions
TERMS - The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par at sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves the right to require a
certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should any purchaser fail to settle for his purchase Transcon Livestock Corp. reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage either
publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale
before any cattle will be released.
BID - Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No private sales will be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. Each animal
will be sold to the highest bidder.
SALES TAXES – Applicable sales taxes will be charged on semen, embryos and trucking fees (if listed), respective to the home province of the buyer, not the seller.
DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s
decision in such matters will be final.
PURCHASER’S RISK - Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time.
INFORMATION SUPPLIED - The information contained in this catalog is believed to be true and accurate. However, the information has been supplied by the seller and neither Transcon Livestock Corp. or
Jamesway Enterprises Ltd. assume any responsibility if the information supplied is not accurate.
CATTLE PICTURES - The images in this catalog are believed to be accurate representations of the individual animals. Transcon Livestock Corp. and Jamesway Enterprises Ltd. assume no responsibility if the
images as received have been altered.
ANNOUNCEMENTS from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalog. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY - A registration/recordation certificate issued by the applicable breed association and duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after settlement has been made.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the acceptance of this certificate in any other association.
SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed by the Sales Management or Seller. Expenses incurred are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchasers are
requested to furnish shipping instructions when making settlement.
BREEDERS GUARANTEE - As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any time. In no event
shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price.
EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void.
HEALTH - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status of any
animal in the sale.
ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors. or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter
and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in
this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
TRANSCON LIVESTOCK CORP. IS AGENT ONLY - It is to be clearly understood that Transcon Livestock Corp. is only acting as a medium between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any
failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations, neither does Transcon Livestock Corp. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties, and any legal
action that may, in exceptional cases, be taken, must be between buyer and seller.
The Auctioneer shall have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment or who has not made proper credit clearance prior to the sale with the owner or Sale Managers.
