RECONDITIONING OF
CENTRIFUGES
Decanters and separators are in operation in many different industries. In many applications are separation equipment running around
the clock and wear out over time in such a degree, that it takes more
than a normal service checks to ensure smooth operation.
HAUS agents can offer to perform reconditioning of all brands and
types of separators and decanters (known collectively as centrifuges)
at very high quality and to competitive prices in cooperation with the
HAUS factory.
Besides manufacturing new centrifuges HAUS has refurbished
centrifuges of all brands since 1954 and is ISO 9001-2008 certified.
Since 1954 HAUS has gained a huge knowledge and expertise about
the reconditioning all kinds of centrifuges. We offer two types of
reconditioning:

Service Reconditioning
Service Reconditioning means that the centrifuges
chassis will be standing on the site, while the rest of
the centrifuges components are sent to our main
factory for 8 stage reconditioning program.
Factory Reconditioning
Factory Reconditioning means the whole total
centrifuge is dismantled and sent to our main factory
for our 12 stage reconditiong program.
All the reconditioned centrifuges or centrifuge components are submitted to functional tests on the test
bench to ensure, that the reconditioning and balance
fulfill our high quality requirements.
In connection with the functional test a detailed test
report is produced. The centrifuge is only approved to
dispatch, when the function test is performed with succes. The HAUS reconditioning program is included a 12
month warranty on the reconditioned parts.
In connection with the reconditioning in some applications it is possible for HAUS or the HAUS agent to offer
rental of “plug and play” centrifuges to compensate or
replace the centrifuge, which is being reconditioned.
This will secure, that the customer’s production can
continue while the reconditioning is made.
Upgrade or new PLC systems is offered in cooperation
with HAUS or the HAUS agent as well as running in,
review of installation, consulting and training.

SERVICE
RECONDITIONING
Service Reconditioning means that the centrifuges
chassis will be standing on the site, while the rest
of the centrifuges components are sent to our main
factory for 8 stage reconditioning program.
1. Seals and bearing replacements: All centrifuge
bearings and seals are replaced with spare parts identical to
genuine spare parts.
2. Wear inspections: We perform a wear check of the most
important machine components and replace defective or
worn machine components with spare parts identical to
genuine spare parts.
3. Reconditioning of bowl and scroll: The overall
condition of the bowl as flanges, liners and sediment
bushings is carefully checked and replaced with spare parts
identical to genuine spare parts. If the wear on the bowl is
too severe, HAUS offers a new completely identical bowl
(8-12 weeks delivery most be expected). The overall
condition the scroll as inlet zone, feed tube, wear protection
on the pitch is carefully checked and reconditioned.

4. Reconditioning of gear box: The overall condition of the
gearbox is carefully checked and wear parts is only replaced
with genuine spare parts or HAUS offers to replace the gear
box with a original reconditioned or new gear box according
to customer demands. Check of tolerances is performed.
5. Motor and hydraulics inspection: Extensive control of
the centrifuges motors and/or hydraulic systems is performed.
If needed motors are reconditioned and/or the hydraulic
system is refurbished.
6. Lubricant replacements: Old lubricants are removed or
drained off completely and replaced with new oils and fats.
7. Final test: After the reconditioning is completed extensive
testing is performed before shipment, which includes
balancing, vibration measurement and functional testing. Test
report carried out and enclosed in the documentation.
8. Commissioning: According to the customer wishes
running in, optimization and commissioning of the
reconditioned centrifuge is performed.

FACTORY
RECONDITIONING
Factory Reconditioning means the whole total centrifuge
is dismantled and sent to our main factory. Our main
factory is reviewing our 12 stage reconditiong program.
1. Dismantling of the complete centrifuge on site: After dismantling of the centrifuge, it is sent to
the HAUS factory, where there is a complete reconstruction of the centrifuge in which each individual
component is performed.
2. Blasting and paint: The frame and chassis of the centrifuges as well as motors is sand blown and then
ground painted. Afterwards epoxy painted in desired RAL colour.
3. Tolerance measurement: Check of tolerances on shafts and bearing housing. Repair of these is
performed if damaged. The tolerance is off limit.
4. Seals and bearing replacements: All centrifuge bearings and seals are replaced with spare parts
identical to genuine spare parts.
5. Wear inspections: We perform a wear check of the most important machine components and replace
defective or worn machine components with spare parts identical to genuine spare parts.
6. Non-destructive material test: All rotating parts is tested by non-destructive test procedure without
damaging the parts and the result is documented in the test report

AFTER SALES AND
SERVICE
In addition to reconditioning, HAUS agents also
offers to perform safety service or great service
overhaul to all brand of decanters to competitive
prices. We offer customers the service of a high
quality performed by trained service technicians.
We can either use original spare parts, as specified
in the service manual or parts identical with
the original spare parts. This ensures customers
problem free and long operation periods without
unwanted downtime. We offer also service
agreements tailored to customers individual needs
and process optimizations on site.
