From the Director:
Dear Families,
A big "thumbs up" to Courtney, Maria, Deirdre and the rest
of the benefit committee for making our Spring Fling so
successful. Your commitment to GMPS is clearly evident
and very much appreciated by the staff and myself. We are
planning to purchase a piece of playground equipment to
replace our wooden structure with part of the proceeds.
We hope to be spending more time outdoors in the next few
weeks - taking walks and looking for signs of spring!
We will begin planting seeds both inside and in our garden
by the playground. We also have great themes planned for
the rest of the year.
I would like to reiterate the importance of parking lot safety.
• The car line and parking lot are cell free zones.
• If the car line is extending on to Harlem, enter the
parking lot and swing back around to the end of the
line.
• Please hold your child by the hand when crossing
the parking lot.
• Please do not move your car with the back door
open.
• Please be mindful and patient with people backing
out of spaces.
Safety of your child is our priority. Once again, thank you
for your cooperation.

Spring Fling Benefit Recap
The numbers are in! Thank you to all of our families and friends for helping us raise
a gross amount of $28,333 in this year's GMPS online and silent auctions! The
participation, enthusiasm, and generosity of our families continue to exceed
expectations!
Once again, a giant thank you to the 2013 Benefit Committee! Such an enormous
undertaking could not be possible without the continued support and dedication of
our incredible parent volunteers! From event planning, decorations,
and photography collaborations to the endless collecting of auction items throughout
the year, thank you to the following individuals for their time, talent, moral
