We’d like to give you an opportunity to learn a little more about some of the members of this year’s class. Below are four participants and in subsequent issues of this newsletter, we’ll profile the remainder of the group. Spencer Nebel is the City Manager for the City of Newport. The City Manager is the administrative head of the City government, and is appointed by the Mayor and City Council. As the top appointed official in the City of Newport, Spencer is typically responsible for most, if not all of the day-to-day administrative operations of the City. Hui Rodomsky is the Associate Planner for the Lincoln County Department of Planning & Development in Newport. What Hui likes best about her job is working on local land use issues on the Central Oregon Coast. Hui joined Leadership Lincoln to gain a better understanding of the Lincoln County community. When Hui is not working, she enjoys visiting Lincoln County’s natural resources with her husband. Robert Taylor is the owner of Creative Landscape & Maintenance in Newport. While at work, Robert enjoys the ability to transform a landscape into areas that are more useful and pleasing to the eye as outdoor living spaces. Robert joined Leadership Lincoln to network with other people who are in leadership roles, while he improves his own leadership skills. When Robert is not working, he likes fishing, hunting, auctions and woodwork.
