Secretariat on the circuit during the event: The Secretariat is located in the Welcome Center at the entrance to the circuit.. All relevant documents have to be picked up here by the participant himself. By signing the scrutinizing card, the participant declares to comply both himself, and his team members with all rules and regulations. For opening hours please check the timetable at the end of this document. 4. Regulations This race will be held under the regulations of the CRT. Raceregulations: For all classes these “Supplementary Regulations” are applicable. For the NK Classics the results will be counted for the NK 2014 championship, For the class NK Classics there is no Parc fermé. Technical regulations:, For the 3D TwinCup, the Nordic Cup, BoTT, the Superbike Revival, and the NK Classics apply in addition to these rules their own regulations. For all other classes, the technical regulations of the Ducati Club race 2015 apply. The Superbike Revival have additional regulations, see www.ducaticlub.nl; Technical Regulations Superbike Revival.. Further information about the specific Ducati-‐or Euro classes, and registration, see www.ducaticlub.nl. In case of translation differences, the Dutch version will prevail. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday maximum sound level for all classes is 104 dB(A), except the NK Classics and 3D Cup only are allowed a maximum of 103 dB(A). 6. Tickets Notwithstanding the number of cards defined in various regulations, for this event the table below is valid. The ticket for the rider is carried out as a sticker. This sticker must be applied to the helmet It will be checked when entering the premise. For the helpers, the access card is designed as wristband. Without this wristband, there is no access to the ‘vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid) and the pit lane. Only upon registration and collection of the documents the rider is allowed to purchase up to 5 additional tickets at € 7.50 each. When participating in multiple classes, only the number of tickets for one class can be applied. The entry cards are designed as wristbands. Only the work vehicles may enter the Working Area (right after the petrol station). All other vehicles must park on the left side after the Tunnel,. 7. Participants and Race classes 7.1 Participants Maximum number of participants in each race: 44. Maximum number of participants in each practice: 55. 7.2 Race Classes 7.2.1 Participation all Ducati-‐ / Euro-‐/3D-‐Cup and Thunderbikes/Ladies Cup The bikes for these classes must fit in the character of this event. The participants must have: -‐a valid OW Cup Day-‐, or national license, issued by CRT -‐ Riders with a Fame, KNM, Euro or international license can participate by a OW Cup one day license 7.2.3 NK-‐Classic Riders need a valid license. Riders will get points for the NK Championship. 7.2.4 Nordic Battle of the Twins: This class resorts under the regulations of SVEMO. 7.2.5 Superbike Revival: For the Superbike Revival there are additional rules to the Technical Regulations 2014 and this supplementary regulations additional rules. See the website of the Ducati Club Netherlands: www.ducaticlub.nl. Technical Regulations Superbike Revival. 7.2.6 TwinCup: This class resorts under the regulations of the OWCup see www.owcup.nl. 7.2.7 Others You can subscribe for two classes at the maximum, but it is not allowed to ride the same bike. Exception is made for the Supermono, 3D-‐Cup, Twin Cup, NK-‐Classics and Euro Singles. They can use the same bike for two classes. The organizer has the right to change your entry from one class to another. 7.3 Classification Groups 7.3.1 Qualification Training: The riders in the classes: Ducati Open, DueValvole, Desmoquattro, Thunderbikes, Ladies Cup and TwinCup will be classified on lap time at qualifying, and will be training in classes Ducati T1 / m T5 . The riders in Supplementary regulations 2014 vs4 9-3-2014 page 2 Supplementary regulations International Ducati Club Race 2015 the classes: NK Classics , Euro Classics and Euro Singles are classified on lap time at qualifying, and training in the Classics T1 and T2 Classics . The Nordic Bott and the Superbike Revival ride a combined qualification. They are classified into classes Ducati T6 and T7 . The format will be announced at registration is binding. 7.3.2 Race: The riders in the classes: Ducati Open, DueValvole and Desmoquattro will be classified for the race through laptimes at qualifying . The following rule will be used while : -‐ The fastest 4 -‐ valve engines are classified in the Desmoquattro -‐ The fastest two -‐ valve engines are classified in the DueValvole -‐ The other participants are divided into the Open Class A, B or C, where the Open A class will be the fastest class based on qualifying time . In case of reasonable doubt regarding the qualifying time driven by a participant he or she will be consulted by the Clerk of the Course and Chief Organization.. The Clerk of the Course may , where appropriate, decide to replace the rider in a different class. Should a competitor during the race ride significant and structural faster laps than during qualifying , the Clerk of the Course may decide to hear the rider. Should there be any unsporting behavior the Clerk of the Course can decide to penalize. 8. Scrutinizing and verification For the free practices on Friday, there will be only a short check on tires, clothing, and exhaust. Please take care for attaching the number plate (as provided by the organization for the free practices only), the transponder on your bike, and your wristband. Without these no entry to the ‘vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid) will be possible. For the official scrutineering, please report yourself with your helmet, your bike, and with the signed scrutineering card in the Techno Centre. After approval, the entry stickers for the ‘vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid) will be attached on your bike. Please stick to the time schedule for scrutineering as attached. If your bike is equipped with a belly pan, is has to be dismounted. Your clothing will be checked at entry of the Supplementary regulations 2014 vs4 9-3-2014 page 3 Supplementary regulations International Ducati Club Race 2015 ‘vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid) next to pitbox 34) In case your clothing is seriously damaged, , you will be refused access to the pre-‐grid by an official. 10. Starting procedure Riders should be present in time in the ‘vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid). We might start earlier than indicated in the time-‐schedule. When entering the vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid) the sticker provided to the rider will be checked. Keep this in mind. In case of 2 races in a class is the starting grid for both races is identical and derived from qualifying Starting procedure: 1. Warming-‐up lap through the ‘vooropstelling’ (pre-‐grid). 2. Go to the right place on the starting grid 3. A red light will be displayed for 2 – 5 seconds. The red light will go out to start the race. There will be NO sighting lap. No mechanics or helpers are allowed on the grid! In case of a breakdown you must enter the pit lane, from where you can continue. 11. Insurance By signing the scrutineering card, the rider confirms that he is familiar with the rules and regulations. The Ducati Club Netherlands, nor the TT Circuit Assen, nor the KNMV, are liable for any damages whatsoever. 12. Prize giving ceremony The ceremony takes place at the ceremony stage immediately after the end of the race. Trophies are there for the numbers 1, 2 and 3. 13. Price money Given the nature of this event and the reduced entry fees, no price money will be granted 14. Riders briefing The riders briefing is for all riders required! For participants who take part for the first and second time, participation in the comprehensive riders briefings is required. This takes place at the Press Center (1st floor in pit building) on Friday evening at 8:30 pm. For riders who have taken part more often is the short briefing required on Friday evening at 19: 30. 15. Startinglists For the classes with a race on Saturday the starting grid will be applied at least 1 hour before the start of the out lap and will be be published on the information Board at Riders Info. For all other classes the starting grid will be applied no later than 9.30 a.m. on the Sunday morning and are published on the information Board at Riders Info. 16. Particular details The so called "huishoudelijk reglement" of the TT circuit is applicable for this event. The document is available at the Welcome Centre, and can be found at www.clubrace.ducaticlub.nl. Key points are: • It's forbidden to make noise with a race motorcycle and/or amplified music at the paddock before 09.00 or after 21.00 hours. Penalty will be Euro 500,00. This penalty will be given by the TT Circuit to the organisation. The Ducati Club Nederland will forward this penalty to the responsible rider, who will also be excluded from the event. • No children below 16 years of age are allowed in the pit lane. Please respect your and our visitors! Waste oil etc. in the drums. Other waste in garbage containers/bags. Leaving used tires behind is not allowed. It's not allowed to keep pets in the paddock. It’s not allowed to drive mini-‐bikes at the paddock. If the riders documents are not picked-‐up at least 2 hours before start of the 1st training session of the related class, participation is cancelled without refund of entry fee The paddock lay-‐out, as attached, has to be respected. Certain areas can be blocked until Thursday 19:00 hrs The areas behind the pitboxes are reserved for the pitbox inhabitants • In case of non-‐compliance with the bylaws ‘Huishoudelijk Reglement’, the Ducati Club Netherlands may decide to exclude from further participation.
