Join us on a surfing odyssey for a taste of the Mexican surf lifestyle in the renowned
Nayarit Riviera just located about 45 minutes north from Puerto Vallarta. Sayulita's
consistent waves, warm water, and village charm makes it the ideal backdrop for the
ultimate surf experience. This trip is ideal for beginner surfers that want to take their
surfing to the next level.
Day 1: Arrival
You will be met at the airport in
beautiful Puerto Vallarta by our
transportation service (optional) and
will be taken to your accommodation in
the village of Sayulita. The 45 minute
scenic drive to Sayulita will drive
through the roadside towns of Nuevo
Vallarta and Bucerias. After driving
through the beautiful jungle you will
emerge at the entrance of our beautiful beachside village of Sayulita. You will spend
the afternoon and evening getting acquainted with the cobblestone streets and openair markets of this throw-back Mexican surfing village.
Tonight during your welcome dinner at our water front restaurant you will enjoy a great
ocean side meal to get ready for the next day’s adventures.
Day 2: Welcome to Surf Paradise
After you wake up in your “Surf-Chic” bungalow in paradise to the crisp ocean air and
the sound of the waves (upgraded package) in your nature friendly environment, we
will meet up at our beach location
at the first low tide of the day with
your small group for our first
scheduled surf lesson.
Sayulita’s crescent bay and
shallow sandy bottom make it
ideal for catching your first waves
on the long, consistent sand
bottom beach break. After introductions and some land lessons in safety, surf
etiquette, and basic techniques we’re ready to hit the water and catch our first waves.
Wildmex’s expert instructors will teach you basic surf dynamics including wave
selection, speed and pop - up technique. Your surf instructors will be on hand to work
with you individually and give great tips to improve your efficiency. By the end of today
beginners will have caught their first wave and more advanced riders will have
perfected fundamental skills.
We will then break for lunch and a much
needed rest. You should take this opportunity
to hit the fresh fruit stand on the sand bar or
grab a seaside burrito, you’ve certainly earned
it. Take the rest of the afternoon at your own
pace to improve on the skills that you have
learned.
Day 3: Find Your Stroke
Your second day of surfing in Sayulita will build on the fundamentals we have already
learned. Today your instructors will take you to the next level by teaching you how to
select the best waves, pivot, and optimal paddling techniques to catch waves by
yourself. Get ready to move to deeper water and catch breaking waves!
The later part of the morning will be an open surf session to catch a few more waves
and some “one-on-one” time with your instructors. Now you will have the confidence
and skills to move onto the bigger waves and different breaks that lie ahead.
Day 4 to 6: The real surfing experience
From day 4 to 6 guests go on 3 of our popular surf trips. These trips to secluded surf
breaks in the area are often most of our guests trip highlight.
One of the great perks in the area are
the boat-only accessible surfbreaks,
which host waves for different ability
levels. There is also a wide array of land
accessible breaks which also host great
quality waves under the adequate conditions.
Depending on the current conditions
and guests ability level, we will chose
between land accessed or boat accessed
breaks to get you surfing.
Instructors will take these days to the next level, by teaching guests the dynamics of
moving around on a point break. Guests will have a chance to catch clean long waves by
themselves and experience long and smooth rides.
7: Departure Day
If you just haven’t had enough, get your morning surf in before your airport shuttle to
Puerto Vallarta Airport comes to take pick you up.

Accommodations:
We have three different accommodation options for you to choose from; Basic, Standard and Upgraded, to fit your necessities.
Basic Package
Our Basic accommodation has simple rooms with private bathrooms, a common
kitchen, common area and dinning room, as well as pool and sun chair area. During the
summer (May- October) rooms have AC, during the winter (Nov-April) there is no AC
needed. There is Wi Fi on every room, the building is safe and clean, and a 24 hour
caretaker lives in the property
The complex is located on a relatively quiet area of town, one block from the beach, and
steeps from various meal option for different budgets as well as small convenience
stores, and three blocks from downtown which hosts lots of restaurants and bars. The
complex is two blocks from our headquarters in town, which is our meeting location for
all our services.
Our Basic accommodation is great for travelers looking for a social atmosphere or for
those looking for an inexpensive surf holiday.
Solo travelers stay at one of our Basic rooms, while couples or parties of two get
automatically upgraded to more spacious and more private rooms.
Standard Package
Our Standard accommodation is thought to give our guests freedom to have as quiet of
a Surf Holiday as they want, or be socially active if that is what they are looking for.
Tucked away 2 blocks from the beach and 5 minutes from downtown and restaurants,
this location gives guests the opportunity to rest on a quiet atmosphere and have
access to all services and fun in town.
All rooms have WiFi access, AC, a safe to store your valuables and have comfortable
mattresses with quality sheets and pillows.
The complex has a common pool, perfect for socializing, a nice terrace for sunset
drinks, and a beautiful yoga studio that hosts Yoga Classes each morning (extra 10 usd
per session). Guests have access to bicycles to ride into town for free and there is a full
time reception service at the entrance of the complex. The complex has plenty of plants
everywhere and small details that show they care about their guests.
Upgraded Package
Our surf inspired accommodation uses harmony with nature to create a magical tropical
experience. These ocean front luxury suites with open air authentic feel are an excellent
retreat. Rooms with great ocean views, awesome decor and spacious terraces; this
accommodation is definitely unique, rooms with private splash pools are also available.
This is the place to stay for guests looking for a more luxurious holiday or couple
wanting a romantic getaway. During the summer (May- October) rooms have AC, during
the winter (Nov-April) there is no AC needed, every room has Wi Fi Access
Our ocean front accommodation is a 5 minute walk from downtown where guests can
find all sorts of restaurants and bars and 5 minutes from from our headquarters in
town, which is our meeting location for all our services.
Solo travelers stay at one of our Deluxe ocean view Villas, while couples or groups of
two get automatically upgraded to more spacious Ocean View Villas with more
amenities.

If you are unable to do a full 6 day camp or are staying longer than 6 days the following
options are available:

Per day- (Less than a week) Price is slightly more expensive but you will have the
same awesome camp experience and attention plus added flexibility.

Extra day (more than 1 week) - If you are on and extended vacation and looking
for a full surf experience with time to learn and then practice all that you have
learned, we offer a reduced price for extra added days to help extend your surf
experience
Group Size:
Depending on the time of the year, our group sizes vary. During holidays, our groups are
a maximum of 9 people (1 van / 9 guests / 3 instructors)
When it is quieter or during low season (Mid-August till Mid-October) our groups are
smaller, and it is more likely that we will be running camps with 1-3 people. We will always have 1:4 ratios with instructors and clients in order to maximize the surf experience and provide more personal attention.
Starting Dates:
Our camp schedules run year round and can start any day of the week. You tell us your
dates and we will make it happen.
Advantages during High Season: Lots of fun, meeting tons of people, awesome group
dynamic.
Advantages during Low season: More focused instruction and more flexibility regarding
surf breaks and schedule.
Level: Although you don’t need to have surfing experience to enjoy this trip you do
need to be in good physical condition. The long and fun days are spent in the surf being
physically active.

Cancellations with 30 days notice get 70% money back
Cancellations with less than 30 days, do not get money back
No money back on Cancellations for holiday season (Christmas and New

30% fee for cancellations for the Surf Trips due to illness made with less than
24 hours.
