August 23, 2015 Elaho Wildfire Information Bulletin Fire Size: 12,523 hectares (estimated) Status: Lightning-caused, 90 per cent contained Resources: 69 personnel and 1 helicopters Yesterday’s Progress: Crews worked to secure containment in the north and mop-up 100 feet in from the fire perimeter. The risk of falling trees and rolling debris continues to be a concern for fire officials. This Area Restriction Order will remain in place for the safety of the public.
