TRANSPORTATION:
The best way to arrive in Sicily is by air. Catania Fontanarossa International Airport
(CTA) is the main gateway to the east coast
while Palermo International Airport (PMO)
provides easy access to the west coast of
Sicily.
Both airports are about 30 minutes outside
of the city centers with local buses passing
every half hour to and from the airport.
To reach Riesi from either Catania or Palermo, there are coach buses passing each
day. To the right are the schedules.

beautiful ruins.
