TRAVELS WITH CASEY
BENOIT DENIZET-LEWIS is a writer with The New York Times and an assistant
professor of writing and publishing at Emerson College. He splits his time between Provincetown and Jamaica Plain.
A Laborador and his human take a funny, touching cross-country RV trip into the
heart of America’s relationship with dogs.

VALERIE CUMMING AND CAMELLIA FREEMAN
VALERIE CUMMING received her MFA in fiction writing from the University of Michigan,
and her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in over two dozen publications. She
works as a freelance writer, teacher, and editor based in Columbus, Ohio, where she
lives with her husband and four daughters. She is currently an Ohio Arts Council
Resident at the Fine Arts Work Center.
CAMELLIA FREEMAN is an Oregonian living in Columbus, Ohio. Her work has appeared
in Indiana Review, Cream City Review, and elsewhere. She was awarded an Ohio
Arts Council Individual Excellence Award for 2014 and is an Ohio Arts Council writer in
residence at the Fine Arts Work Center from June through August. She is at work on a
short story collection and also writes personal essays.

Building on the Work Center’s tradition of creative excellence and community,
24PearlStreet offers an engaging online learning experience led by nationally
recognized poets and writers.
The program runs in three seasons, in three genres, on three levels. Fall, Winter,
and Spring. Poetry, Fiction, and Nonfiction. Eight-week Studios, Four-week
Workshops, and One-week Intensives.

The Fine Arts Work Center’s Writer’s Studio Raffle returns
with much anticipation and excitement. The one-of-a-kind
studio is designed this year by Fine Arts Work Center Visual
Fellow Jarrod Beck (2013-14, 2011-12). Jarrod, one of this year’s
Featured Artists, creates multi-media architectural installations
that respond to natural land formations.
His 6’ x 8’ “Quartz” studio has been custom built and generously
donated by Cape Associates, Inc. with support from Bailey Bob
Bailey and Jerome Greene.
