Sixth Grade Parents will be receiving an important letter today in a separate envelope. The letter
is about a mandatory immunization incoming 7th graders are required to have. Please schedule
your 6th grade student for a well child visit before school starts in August, if he/she has not
already received this vaccination.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
The next Health and Wellness "Just Try It" event
is Friday, April 17th during lunch. Whole Foods is
doing a fun "kids-do-it-yourself" guacamole. Every
student will get a hands on experience making
their own healthy all natural guacamole! The recipe
for the guacamole will be sent home Friday.
Did you know that Avocados are a fruit? In fact,
this fruit is a nutritional powerhouse providing
numerous potential health benefits. Avocados are
an excellent source of folate, potassium, vitamin K,
vitamins B9 and B6, vitamins C and E. A medium
avocado contains 11 grams of fiber and 4.6 grams
of protein. Apart from being an excellent source
of fiber and vitamins, avocados can lower
cholesterol levels, reduce the risk of diabetes,
promote lower body weight, prevent cancer,
maintain eye health and more. Avocados act as a
"nutrient booster" to help the body absorb more fat
soluble nutrients from food eaten with them.
The food samples will vary and just like many
groceries/restaurants our ingredients will be nut free BUT may
have been exposed to facilities that handle nuts and eggs so if
this is a concern, we don't recommend students with these
allergies to sample the food at this time. Any questions please
email [email protected]

We are so eager to launch our online volunteer sign up for JuneFest 2015!
We are again using VolunteerSpot.com to engage and organize our volunteer base for the
entire JuneFest weekend.
VolunteerSpot.com has been used for multiple events at Cardinal Pacelli and has been found
to be very user friendly and does not require a membership to use. VolunteerSpot does not
share your email address with anyone!
It's really easy and we hope that you will join us in making JuneFest a great event!
Here is how it works in 3 easy steps:
1) Click this link to see our Sign-Up on VolunteerSpot: http://vols.pt/QDYHxd
2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.
3) Sign up! It's Easy - you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on
VolunteerSpot.
If you have any questions about using this site or prefer to sign up manually, please contact
Lisa Hilbert at [email protected].
Thank you in advance for your willingness to support our Parish Community and all those
working toward a fabulous festival!
All talent show participants are invited to perform
his/her talent(s) once again on Sunday of
JuneFest! We hope to make the JuneFest Sunday
Italian Dinner extra special with entertainment from
our very own students.
We don't have a set time for the talent show or line-up at this point. The dinner runs 4:307:30 PM, so the performance will run 5:00-6:00PM-ish. Songs/dances/performances can be
revised if need be. This is just such a great opportunity to showcase our students' talent to a
larger audience!
At your earliest convenience, please let Jill Giles know if your son/daughter is interested
and/or available and what questions you may have. THANK YOU! If you have any questions,
please call Jill Giles (513) 720-8594.

THINGS ARE LOOKING MUCH BRIGHTER IN THE GYMNASIUM!!!
The Athletic Commission would like to recognize and thank Scott Lovdal for the
effort he put forth to place new, brighter and more energy efficient lighting in the

turned off. Please make an effort to thank Scott!
