die erste verkaufte 40 Meter Yacht, ein neuer Showroom in China, der Ausbau der Vertriebsaktivitäten von Sunseeker
Germany im östlichen Mittelmeer. Es geht Schlag auf Schlag. Die positive Grundstimmung in Wirtschaft und im privaten
Konsum lässt auch Sunseeker Germany nicht untätig. Es ist viel passiert im vergangenen halben Jahr.
Durch die sehr lange, intensive Zusammenarbeit mit der Werft – seit nunmehr 1972, angefangen mit dem Bootcenter
Krick in Bad Oeynhausen als Vorgänger der Sunseeker Germany AG – haben wir das Vertrauen ausgesprochen bekommen, in weiteren neun Ländern rund um die schönsten Wassersportreviere der Adria und des östlichen Mittelmeers
den Sunseeker Vertrieb und Service zu führen. Erfreulich ist auch, dass wir unsere Verkaufsaktivitäten in China wieder
steigern konnten.

Our first 40 Meter Yacht sold, a new showroom in China and Sunseeker Germany’s expanded sales activities into the
Eastern Med are a clear sign that things are happening in rapid succession. A positive attitude towards economics and
personal spending has helped us to take action and you will see that a lot of things have happened in the past 6 months.
Thanks to a long-standing intense partnership with Sunseeker International, which started in 1972 with the former “Bootcenter Krick” in Bad Oeynhausen, we are delighted with the shipyard’s confidence in us to promote and sell Sunseeker
yachts to a further nine countries throughout the Eastern Med, and some of the most beautiful boating areas in the Adriatic. In China, we have also increased the number of sales considerably.

WELTPREMIERE AUF DER SOUTHAMPTON INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2011
Kaum ein anderer Motoryacht-Hersteller kann an Sunseekers wachsendem Erfolg anknüpfen: Vier neue Modelle in
der letzten Saison und vier geplante Newcomer für das kommende Halbjahr. Dies ist ein perfekter Beweis dafür, dass
Sunseeker durch stetige Produkterweiterungen und innovative Lösungen wieder einmal alle konventionellen Grenzen
überschreitet.
Erneut hat das Designteam aus Poole sein Können unter Beweis gestellt und eine neue Flybridge-Yacht kreiert, die erstmalig auf der Southampton Boat Show vom 16. bis 25. September 2011 dem Weltpublikum vorgestellt wird.
Die Manhattan 53 bietet nicht nur ein beeindruckendes Raumangebot, sondern auch eine Vielzahl an neuen Ausstattungsmerkmalen, um selbst höchsten Ansprüchen an Bord gerecht zu werden.

Die neue
Manhattan 53
Durch einen neuen Rumpf und ein innovatives Design hat die Manhattan 53 im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell deutlich
an Volumen gewonnen. Dies spiegelt sich sowohl im Hauptdeck als auch im Wohndeck wider. So wird der großzügige
Salon durch eine zusätzliche Dinette im vorderen Bereich ergänzt. Zudem macht sich das erweiterte Raumgefühl in der
dritten Gästekabine bemerkbar: Mit zwei vollwertigen Einzelbetten bietet sie Komfort und Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre pur.
Mehr Platzgewinn auch auf der Flybridge.
Besonderes Augenmerk legten die Designer auf die Stehhöhe in allen Kabinen. Die unverwechselbaren Panoramafenster, für die Sunseeker zuletzt immer wieder gelobt wurde, sind ebenfalls wie die Anordnung des Doppelbetts neue
Features in der Eignerkabine.
Optional kann die elegante Flybridge-Yacht mit einer Crewkabine ausgestattet werden. Ferner besteht die Möglichkeit,
das Heck mit erweiterter Sonnenliegefläche zu spezifizieren.

WORLD PREMIERE AT THE SOUTHAMPTON INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2011
With four new models launched last season and four newcomers planned for the upcoming six months, there is hardly another motoryacht builder who can keep pace with Sunseeker’s ever growing success. This perfectly shows that Sunseeker
is again expected to exceed all conventional limits when it comes to steady product extension and innovative solutions.
The design team from Poole has once again demonstrated its abilities and created a new flybridge yacht, which is due to
be launched at Southampton Boat Show from 16 to 25 September 2011 for the first time.
It not only promises the Manhattan 53 much larger volume over the Manhattan 52, but also a number of new features
to cater to the highest of demands on board.
Compared to her predecessor, the new Manhattan 53 has gained additional space, which is due to a new hull and an
innovative design. This is reflected in particular both on the main deck and the lower deck accommodation. Therefore, for
example, it will be possible to include a forward dinette seating area to the main deck. The maximised internal volume is
also noticeable in the third guest cabin, with two adjacent single beds, which will give a greatly improved feel of comfort.
Moreover, the flybridge area offers additional space as well.
Special attention has also been applied to the head room heights. Another new feature of the owner’s cabin is the layout
of the double bed and the unmistakable panoramic windows for which Sunseeker has been lately praised in the press.
As an option, the elegant flybridge yacht can be fitted with a crew cabin. There is also the possibility of an extended
sunbed option.

SUNSEEKER CHINA REACHES NEW HEIGHTS
FLAGSHIP STORE OPENING & HAINAN RENDEZ-VOUS
Our Chinese company, Sunseeker China GmbH, took off in the first half year with two successful events.
With a great inauguration ceremony on 12 March, 2011, Sunseeker China opened its first flagship showroom in Sanya,
located on the Chinese isle of Hainan. Strategically positioned in the heart of the Visun Royal Yacht Club, the exquisite
showroom is the first yachting flagship store in China. With four Sunseeker models, including two 88 Yachts, an 80 Yacht
and a Manhattan 66 on display, Sunseeker owners and VIP guests, along with the Management Board from Sunseeker
International and Sunseeker Germany, were invited to witness the historical moment.
The new Sunseeker China flagship store sits on a superb vantage point within the Visun Royal Yacht Club and spans 420
square meters. Given Sunseeker China’s focus on customer service, the space houses an extensive range of facilities. It not
only boasts a Product Display Area, but also an After Sales Service Suite, Private Owners Lounge and Alfresco Terrace.
The flagship showroom has been specifically designed to engage with needs of existing yacht owners. Sunseeker owners
can enjoy privileged and exclusive treatment at the first class Private Owner’s Lounge and After Sales Service Suite.
Sunseeker China currently has one of the largest technical support teams in China and they will be on standby to assist
Sunseeker owners with the upkeep of their craft.
The opening of the showroom is another prime example of Sunseeker China increasing their operational capability. It
follows the opening of their sales office in Sanya, and together with the Sunseeker China Headquarters in Shanghai and
the Owner Service Center in Quingdao, it adds to their extensive service and sales network in China.
SUNSEEKER CHINA’S SUCCESS AT THE 2011 HAINAN RENDEZ-VOUS
Sunseeker China’s success story continued at this year’s Hainan Rendez-Vous, which took place from 1 to 4 April in Sanya.
The event is the biggest private yacht and jet show in China, and with the sale of four yachts Sunseeker China’s success
illustrates that Sunseeker is the ultimate symbol of luxury in the Chinese yachting industry.
Sunseeker China displayed four Sunseeker yachts from 60 to 90 feet by the exclusive Sunseeker Pier in Visun Club. The
yachts, which attracted much attention during the show, surrounded a unique floating pontoon, creating an impressive
“walking on-water” feeling for visitors.
They also threw a special “Strawberry & Champagne Party” on the pontoon, with more than 150 VIP guests attending.
With prosperous sales results, coupled with the opening of the first ever flagship yacht store in China, this milestone further
demonstrates the success and the leadership of Sunseeker yachts in China yachting industry.

Mit zwei erfolgreichen Events startete unsere chinesische Gesellschaft, die Sunseeker China GmbH, im ersten Halbjahr voll durch.
Im Rahmen einer großen Eröffnungsfeier am 12. März 2011 wurde Sunseeker Chinas erster Flagshipstore in Sanya auf der
chinesischen Insel Hainan offiziell eingeweiht. Strategisch optimal positioniert im Herzen des Visun Royal Yachtclubs ist er somit
der erste seiner Art auf chinesischem Terrain. Zahlreiche Sunseeker Eigner und VIP-Gäste folgten der Einladung, um diesem
historischen Moment beizuwohnen. Darunter die Geschäftsleitung von Sunseeker International und Sunseeker Germany.
Vier Sunseeker Yachten – zwei 88 Yacht, eine 80 Yacht und eine Manhattan 66 – rundeten die spektakuläre Eventkulisse ab.
Sunseeker Chinas neues Vorzeigeobjekt umfasst 420 Quadratmeter und befindet sich in erstklassiger Lage innerhalb des
Visun Royal Yachtclubs. Um den Kundenservice in den Fokus zu rücken, verwöhnt der Showroom Sunseeker Kunden mit umfangreichen Annehmlichkeiten. So bietet er nicht nur eine großzügige Ausstellungsfläche, sondern verfügt zudem über eine Aftersales Service Suite, eine private Owner’s Lounge sowie eine Open-Air-Terrasse. Da das Design des Prestigeobjekts speziell
auf die Bedürfnisse der Klientel zugeschnitten ist, profitieren die Kunden bei Sunseeker China von einem exklusiven First-Class
Service. Derzeit beschäftigt Sunseeker China eines der größten Yachtservice-Teams in China. Um Sunseeker Eigner bei der
Instandhaltung ihrer Yacht zu unterstützen, ist das Team jederzeit in Bereitschaft.
Die Eröffnung des neuen Flagshipstores in Sanya ist ein exzellentes Beispiel für Sunseeker Chinas verstärkte Präsenz in der
Region. Mit dem Hauptsitz in Shanghai und dem Owner Service Center in Quingdao wird das flächendeckende Vertriebsund Servicenetz Chinas somit um einen weiteren wichtigen Standort ergänzt.
ERFOLG AUF DEM HAINAN RENDEZ-VOUS 2011
Sunseeker Chinas Erfolgsgeschichte setzte sich auf dem diesjährigen Hainan Rendez-Vous vom 1. bis 4. April 2011 fort, einer
Luxusmesse mit der größten Yacht und Privatjet-Ausstellung Chinas. Das Resultat spricht für sich: Der Verkauf von vier Motoryachten verdeutlicht, dass sich Sunseeker in der chinesischen Yachtindustrie als Luxusmarke fest etabliert hat.
Am exklusiven Sunseeker Pier im Visun Yachtclub wurden insgesamt vier Yacht-Beauties von 60 bis 90 Fuß eindrucksvoll
in Szene gesetzt. Zugang zu den Exponaten im Wasser lieferte ein einzigartiger Schwimmponton, der den Besuchern das
Gefühl gab, auf dem Wasser zu laufen. Als besonderes Highlight richtete Sunseeker China auf dem Pier eine “Strawberry &
Champagne Party” für mehr als 150 geladene VIP-Gäste aus.
Der Verkauf von vier Motoryachten und die Eröffnung des ersten Yacht-Flagshipstores in China legen einen weiteren Meilenstein in der Erfolgsgeschichte von Sunseeker in der chinesischen Yachtindustrie.

SUCCESSFUL SEASON OPENER IN MALLORCA AND AT THE BALTIC SEA
Two in-water boat shows in Port Adriano (Mallorca) and in the ancora Marina in Neustadt (German Baltic Sea) provided a rare opportunity to view a broad range of yachts, a dream come true for Sunseeker enthusiasts. From 30 April
to 8 May 2011, Sunseeker Germany hosted their Open Days in Port Adriano for the second time, following its previous
success. A wide selection of both new and pre-owned Sunseeker yachts, ranging from the Sunseeker Superhawk 43 to
the Predator 84, were on display, providing an ideal setting to kick-start the 2011 boating season.
With fantastic weather, numerous visitors attended the show throughout the weekend. Plenty of potential clients and
contacts were identified, and visitors to the Sunseeker stand were spoilt for choice with an extensive selection of canapés
and beverages. The current status of the port expansion (see also next double page) was a further topic among the
motorboat enthusiasts. With the sale of a used 72 Mazarin and Sunseeker Portofino 53 the floating boat event ended
with a good result.
While our colleagues from Mallorca were getting permanently spoilt by the sun during the Open Days at the beginning
of May, the weather god did not bless the North German crew with sunny skies at the end of May. Mostly covered with
crowds – that’s how we saw the hanseboot ancora boat show in Neustadt at the German Baltic Sea from 26 to 29 May,
2011. However, with a wide variety of entertainment that was provided throughout the show, both on land and water
including Segway driving or a personal flying machine powered by a 4-stroke engine called “JetLev”, the second edition
of Germany’s largest in-water boat show was an absolute success.
The Predator 64 was the main attraction of the event, in addition to a total of a further 15 craft which were beautifully
displayed on the Sunseeker pontoon. Those who preferred the thrill of horse power on land had a chance to get up close
and personal with a Range Rover Sport and a Land Rover Discovery positioned in front of the Sunseeker stand. Sunseeker
Germany’s jewellery partner, Rüschenbeck, also had a present on the stand, showcasing an exclusive collection of elegant watches and beautiful gems.
Particularly pleasing was the high number of guests we welcomed at the popular Sunseeker pavilion. Many customers
and Sunseeker friends followed our invitation, especially during the weekend, and enjoyed the maritime ambience of the
ancora Marina and the warm hospitality of Sven Schulz and Sylvia Loeber from the Hamburg office and Erika Picorel
who travelled from Mallorca to support the event and to be on hand at all times to assist with any enquiries made. By the
way, Sven’s legendary lollipop jar was once again very well received by all our small guests.
We would like to thank all customers, suppliers and friends who visited us in considerable numbers during both boat shows
and for the confidence you have shown us. We wish you a great yacht season 2011 and always a hand’s breath water
under the keel.

GELUNGENER SAISONAUFTAKT AUF MALLORCA UND AN DER OSTSEE
Für Lust auf Meer sorgten im Mai gleich zwei In-Water Shows in Port Adriano (Mallorca) und der ancora Marina in
Neustadt (Ostsee). Vom 30. April bis 8. Mai 2011 fanden zum zweiten Mal die Sunseeker Germany Open Days in Port
Adriano statt. Die breite Ausstellungspalette – von der Superhawk 43 bis zur Predator 84 – bot den idealen Rahmen, um
sich auf die Yachtsaison 2011 einzustimmen. Bei ausgezeichnetem Wetter und einem gut besuchten Wochenende wurden
neue Kontakte geknüpft und die neuesten Informationen aus dem Hause Sunseeker eingeholt.

INWATER SHOWS
Auch einige Kunden schauten vorbei und genossen die beeindruckende Yachtkulisse bei köstlichen Canapés und erfrischenden Drinks. Der aktuelle Stand der Hafenerweiterung (siehe auch nächste Doppelseite) war weiteres Gesprächsthema unter den Motorbootliebhabern. Mit dem Verkauf einer gebrauchten 72 Mazarin und Sunseeker Portofino 53
konnte die schwimmende Bootsmesse mit gutem Ergebnis abgeschlossen werden.
Während die Mallorca-Kollegen schon Anfang Mai die Sonnencreme auftrugen, hatte der Wettergott Ende Mai leider
kein Mitleid mit der norddeutschen Crew. So präsentierte sich die hanseboot ancora boat show vom 26. bis 29. Mai
2011 unter einem wolkenbehangenen Himmel. Dennoch: Mit einem bunten Rahmenprogramm und jeder Menge Action
zu Lande und zu Wasser, wie Segway fahren oder die Flüge eines wasserstrahlgetriebenen JetLev, ging Deutschlands
größte In-Water-Bootsmesse erfolgreich in die zweite Runde.
Star der Veranstaltung war neben den am Sunseeker Steg festgemachten 15 Yachten die Predator 64, die ihre Ostseepremiere in der ancora Marina feierte. Wer bei den Gefährten lieber auf PS an Land setzte, wurde bei Sunseeker
Germany ebenso fündig. Mit der Präsentation des Range Rover Sport und Land Rover Discovery konnten gleich zwei
Fahrzeugmodelle in Augenschein genommen werden. Juwelier Rüschenbeck zeigte eine exklusive Kollektion geschmackvoller Uhren und traumhafter Edelsteine.
Erfreulich hoch war die Anzahl der Gäste, die wir im allseits beliebten Sunseeker Pavillon begrüßen durften. Viele Kunden
und Sunseeker Freunde folgten insbesondere am Wochenende unserer Einladung und ließen sich vom maritimen Flair und
der herzlichen Gastfreundschaft begeistern. Unterstützung bekam Sven Schulz von Erika Picorel, die extra aus Mallorca
anreiste, sowie Sylvia Loeber vom Hamburger Büro. Übrigens, Svens legendäres Lolliglas fand bei unseren kleinen Besuchern wieder einmal reißenden Absatz.
Wir bedanken uns an dieser Stelle für Ihren Besuch auf beiden Hausmessen und das damit entgegengebrachte Vertrauen
und wünschen Ihnen für die Yachtsaison 2011 immer eine Handbreit Wasser unter dem Kiel.

CULINARY HIGHLIGHTS READY TO ARRIVE

„EAST“ TO BE EXPORTED TO PORT ADRIANO
Finally, the new super yacht marina of Port Adriano is expected to be completed this summer,
after a construction period of three years. Both our customers and the Sunseeker Germany staff
excitedly look forward to the end of the expansion works and their results. It will be interesting
to see what shops and restaurants will enrich Port Adriano in the future.
The reconstruction of the harbour represents a particular challenge, as the creation of moorings for yachts up to 60 meters,
the expansion of the dry dock and the exclusivity of a parade of shops designed by Philippe Starck look set to turn the
marina into an international center of attraction.
As one of the most renowned designer worldwide, French-born Philippe Starck not only is responsible for the architecture
of the new shopping area, the decoration of shared facilities and the design of maritime elements including lighthouses,
bollards etc., but he was also engaged for the design of all exterior and interior components of Port Adriano’s new hot
spot restaurant Coast Grill & Bar by East, due to be opened at the end of September 2011.
The Coast is a joint project from the East hotel in Hamburg, offering 470 seats and a large al fresco terrace spreading
over an area of 1,400 square meters. It clearly bears the hallmarks of Philippe Starck, reflecting a simple and streamlined
design, paired with the usage of high-class materials, yet no unnecessary patterns. Culinary delights including seafood,
barbecue specialities, Sushi and Sashimi await the guests in this trendy restaurant, regarded as a new special highlight
on Mallorca.
A branch venue of Germany’s most northern beach restaurant on the island of Sylt “Sansibar” is also planned to move to
the upper floor as a wine lounge. The successful history as a gourmet‘s temple and VIP‘s club started with a beach kiosk
more than 30 years ago. Today, Sansibar with the 2 crossed swords logo is one of Germany’s most gastronomic highlights
and is sure to be one as well in Port Adriano.
The fantastic view from the terrace over the harbour and the Mediterranean will make sundown an unforgettable experience. Sunseeker Germany are delighted to announce a future mutual co-operation, offering many advantages and
surprises for all Sunseeker customers.

Bald ist es soweit – Der neue Superyachthafen von Port Adriano soll nach drei Jahren Bauzeit in
diesem Sommer endlich fertiggestellt werden. Nicht nur unsere Kunden, sondern auch wir freuen
uns schon sehr auf das Ergebnis und fiebern dem Ende entgegen. Gespannt sein darf man auf die Geschäfte und Restaurants,
die Port Adriano zukünftig bereichern werden.
Die Umgestaltung des Hafens stellt eine besondere Herausforderung dar: Die Schaffung von Liegeplätzen für Yachten bis

Die Sansibar, das legendäre Strandlokal auf Sylt, zieht als Weinlounge in der oberen Etage ein. Die Erfolgsgeschichte als

The Croatian coastline with its offshore islands is one of
Europe’s most beautiful yachting areas. Covering an area of
more than 1,000 km, it impresses with its enormous number
of islands (a total of 1,185) and bays and offers a wide range
of fantastic landscapes, different topographies and vegetation types.
We are delighted to announce that since January 2011,
Sunseeker Germany has been the official sales and service
partner for Sunseeker yachts in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR), including countries as diverse as Albania,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. As a result,
Sunseeker Germany’s comprehensive sales territory, which so far has included Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium,
Denmark, Luxemburg, Mallorca, Poland and China, was expanded to include further important markets. The expansion of
the distribution rights has also laid the foundation stone for Sunseeker Germany Adria d.o.o.
New service partner for first-class yacht service
With effect from 1 April 2011, Sunseeker Germany has appointed Merk & Merk d.o.o., one of Croatia’s leading yacht
service companies, as their exclusive Service Partner for the EMR.
Based on this agreement, all Sunseeker yachts in the EMR will be exclusively serviced by Merk & Merk d.o.o. in the future.
The Premium Service will include the delivery of Sunseeker yachts to the owner and after sales services, supported by a
multi-lingual, highly qualified and mobile service team.
Merk & Merk with base in Tribunj was founded in 2005 by Walter and Julian Merk who both are trained boat builders.
Before this, they had gained experience in the field of yacht services for more than 15 years in Southern Germany and
at the Mediterranean. The team consisting of 25 people covers the widest possible range of all kinds of yacht services.
The focus is on yacht electronics and service and repair of engines and mechanical systems. They are also specialized
in renovating both wooden and GRP boats, teak works, reworks in the interior and exterior, paintwork, yacht care and
many more.
In addition to this, Merk & Merk are authorized for Sales & Service for Volvo Penta, Seadoo, Raymarine, Mastervolt etc.

Premiere at the Croatia Boat Show 2011
The Croatia Boat Show from 12 to 17 April 2011 in Split was the perfect occasion for Sunseeker Germany having flown
their flag for the first time on Croatian soil. Unfortunately, attendance was lower than expected. However, despite this a
number of good leads and important marketing contacts were generated. Still on the show stand, which turned out to be
one the most attractive of the show with its pure and elegant design, we were able to raise new ideas and discuss novel
marketing strategies. The impressive backdrop of the UNESCO-protected Old Town of Split proved to be unique, and
was perfectly complemented by the display of the stunning Portofino 48 and Predator 84.

der Show, wurden Ideen vertieft und neue Marketingstrategien besprochen. Als einzigartig erwies sich die wunderschöne Kulisse der UNESCO-geschützten Altstadt von Split, die von der Portofino 48 und Predator 84 eindrucksvoll ergänzt
wurde.

To date, three of the current Sunseeker flagship, the 40 Meter Yacht, launched at last year’s Southampton Boat Show,
have left the shipyard in Poole. Also, Sunseeker Germany announced the sale of a 40 Meter Yacht last year. By May
2011, delivery time had finally arrived and the snow-white diva was handed over to the new owner, after a construction period of 15 months. The hand-over took place in Poole on 20 May 2011, attended by the new owner and his
friends, the surveyor, the captain and Sunseeker Germany CEO Torsten Sieckmann. After the official launching ceremony, the 40 Meter Yacht with a full crew on board started her seven days maiden voyage from Poole via Guernsey
to Brest, through the stormy Biscay waters (which she perfectly mastered) to Vigo, and finally headed from Gibraltar to
Port Adriano. On its arrival, the Sunseeker Germany service team jumped on board immediately to carry out customised
work and prepare the boat for the clients’ arrival. After a few days sailing locally in Mallorca, the yacht named Jelana
has left the Balearics via Italy, with the destination being her new home water, the Eastern Med.

Sie ist das aktuelle Flaggschiff von Sunseeker – die 40 Meter Yacht. Im vergangenen Jahr auf der Southampton Boat Show
erstmalig dem Weltpublikum vorgestellt, wurden bis dato drei Modelle des neuen Vorzeigeschiffs in Poole ausgeliefert. Auch
Sunseeker Germany verkündete bereits im letzten Jahr den Verkauf einer 40 Meter Yacht. Im Mai war es endlich soweit: Die
schneeweiße Diva wurde nach 15-monatiger Bauzeit an den neuen Eigner übergeben. Getauft wurde die Superyacht am
20. Mai 2011 in Poole auf den Namen „Jelana“. An dem feierlichen Ritual partizipierten der Eigner persönlich, Freunde, Bauaufsicht, Kapitän und Sunseeker Germany Vorstand Torsten Sieckmann. Nach dem offiziellen Zerschellen der Champagnerflasche
brach die 40 Meter Yacht mit der gesamten Crew zum Ziel der Jungfernfahrt auf: Von Poole ging es über Guernsey nach Brest,
durch die stürmische Biskaya (die sie blendend meisterte) nach Vigo und von Gibraltar nach Port Adriano, wo sie nach einer siebentägigen Reise einlief. Hier führte das Team von Sunseeker Germany eine Reihe von Sonderarbeiten durch. Inzwischen hat die
„Jelana“ nach diversen Törns die Balearen in Richtung Italien und ihrem neuen Heimatrevier, dem östlichen Mittelmeer, verlassen.

BiG is the name of the company that constitutes absolute perfection in
the manufacturing of golf clubs: high end club-fitting. The German firm
B.i.G. Bioengineered in Germany creates made-to-measure golf clubs in the
hightech manufactory in Winsen/Luhe near Hamburg, according to the individual
parameters of each golfer.
In an individual fitting session all the significant details of the player are recorded
by using a Doppler radar. These range from body measurements to all ball flight
factors determined by the impact moment. On the basis of the anatomy, physics and style of each individual, the BiG Bioengineers calculate the golf clubs
which are then manufactured in the perfect combination of balance, weight,
form, length, curvature, angle and top-quality material. One further detail that is

Nach dem Abitur ging Marlen erst einmal für ein Jahr in die USA als Au-Pair
und entdeckte ihre Vorliebe für das Leben im Ausland. Vorerst entschied sie
sich aber für eine Ausbildung in Deutschland und studierte Betriebswirtschaft im
Bereich Tourismus und lernte gleichzeitig

her passion for living abroad. However,
knowing that her career was her priority
she decided to return to Germany and
studied business administration in tourism
and hotel management simultaneously.
Nach seiner Ausbildung bei der Royal
Navy (HMS Devonport Dockyard) in
England zog es Marc zunächst nach
Guernsey, wo er für Aquastar tätig war.
1994 kam er nach Mallorca und arbeitet seitdem für Sunseeker, damals noch
für die Werft direkt in Cala d’Or als
Warranty Engineer. Dieser Job schloss
zahlreiche Reiseaktivitäten in Europa

Marc started with an apprenticeship
in HMS Devonport Dockyard, England then moved to Guernsey to work
for Aquastar, until coming to Mallorca
to start with Sunseeker International in
1994, at the then head office in Cala
d’Or. He worked as a warranty engineer, travelling all over Europe and the
United States for the factory, on the complete Sunseeker range.

FACES BEHIND SUNSEEKER GERMANY
Als Marlen 2004 ihr Diplom überreicht bekam, saß sie
drei Tage später im Flieger Richtung Kanaren. Schnell
merkte sie, dass Spanien ihr Land ist. Nach 1,5 Jahren
auf den Kanaren mit anschließenden Reiseaktivitäten
entschied sie sich, nach Mallorca zu ziehen, wo sie durch
einen glücklichen Zufall auf Sunseeker Germany stieß.
Im Mai 2006 fing Marlen als Rezeptionistin an und ist
seitdem stolzes Mitglied eines tollen Teams. Im Laufe der
Jahre wuchs ihre Verantwortung und sie bekam immer
mehr Aufgaben im direkten Kundenservice, einschließlich der Organisation und Verwaltung der Liegeplätze,
der Reinigung der Yachten oder der Eventplanung. Inzwischen bewegt sich ihr Aufgabengebiet in Richtung
Persönliche Assistentin von Michael Suckart.
„Meine Arbeit macht mir deshalb Spaß, weil jeder Tag
anders ist und ich den persönlichen Kontakt zu den Kunden sehr schätze. Ich bezeichne uns immer als Sunseeker
Familie“, sagt Marlen.
Marlen received her diploma in 2004, and three days
later was sitting on a plane headed for the Canary Islands. After 1.5 years in the Canaries Islands followed by
almost half a year of travelling the world, it didn’t take
her long to realise that Spain felt like home, so she decided to move to Mallorca, where she immediately found
a position within Sunseeker Germany.
In May 2006, Marlen began as a receptionist and
since then is a happy member of a great team. Over
the years, her responsibilities have grown and she has
been given more and more tasks of a customer service nature, including the organization and management of berths, the cleaning of the yachts and event
planning. In addition to this, she has recently been given the role of personal assistant to Michael Suckart.
“When I talk about my colleagues, I refer to us always as the
Sunseeker family,“ she explains, “my work gives me a great
deal of joy and every day is different. I also thoroughly enjoy
the daily direct contact with our customers“, Marlen said.
In ihrer Freizeit geht Marlen gern in der Natur wandern,
Kajak fahren, Canyoning oder einfach faul am Strand
liegen mit einem guten Buch. Nicht zu vergessen das Reisen, vor allem Abenteuerreisen.
In her spare time Marlen enjoys nature, hiking, kayaking, canyoning, or just lazing on the beach with a good
book. Not forgetting travel, adventure travel in particular.
Bevor Marc 2009 das Team von Sunseeker Germany in
Port Adriano bereicherte, war er fünf Jahre lang als Chief
Engineer bei der Sunseeker Sales Group beschäftigt.

Engineer for Sunseeker Sales Group.
Zu seinem Aufgabengebiet zählen das Testen von
Neuschiffen, das Reporting für das Testing Team der
Werft sowie die Abnahme der Yachten in der Werft.
Darüber hinaus ist er zuständig für die Durchführung
der PDI (Pre-delivery-inspection) vor der Auslieferung
an den Kunden. Weitere Aufgaben umfassen mechanische Reparaturarbeiten, technische Pflege und Fehlerbehebung. Der enge Kontakt mit dem Kunden bzw.
dem zuständigen Händler in Europa ermöglicht es ihm,
Wünsche gemeinsam zu diskutieren und umzusetzen.
Zugute kommt ihm hierbei seine 17-jährige Erfahrung im technischen Kundenservice von Sunseeker.
His responsibilities include testing new products, compiling reports for testers at the factory in the U.K. and
day-to-day servicing and diagnoses. Furthermore, he is
in charge of the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) before the
official hand-over to the customer, plus repairs and valuating results. He liaises daily with customers and dealers
throughout Europe, discussing and implementing their requirements, as he has invaluable knowledge and experience attained from the technical skills and the customer
service background of 17 years.
Ganz im Sinne der Sunseeker Philosophie, dem Streben
nach stetiger Perfektion und Innovation, ist auch Marc ein
Perfektionist. Nichts erfüllt ihn mehr als die Gewissheit,
ein Problem gelöst zu haben und an Bord einen
rundum zufriedenen Kunden zurück zu lassen.
Zu Marcs Hobbies zählen Moto GP, Formel
Eins, Mountain Biking, Musik und Reisen.
As a perfectionist himself, he loves the Sunseeker reputation for striving for perfection and constant innovation,
taking huge job satisfaction in solving a problem, then
walking off the boat knowing the customer is satisfied.

Jan ist 2006 über einen Headhunter zu
Sunseeker Germany gekommen. Aber
die Marke begleitete ihn schon seit
der Jugend. Durch seinen Geburtsort
Bückeburg bei Hannover, der in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Bad Oeynhausen liegt
(viele von Ihnen kennen vielleicht noch das
Bootcenter Krick), konnte er bereits in jungen Jahren das einzigartige Design einer
Sunseeker bewundern. Besonders amüsant ist, dass Jan von unserem heutigen

Jan joined Sunseeker Germany 2006
with the help of a headhunter. However,
the brand has accompanied him since his
youth. Born in Bückeburg close to Hanover, which is located in direct proximity to
Bad Oeynhausen (the former location of
the Bootcenter Krick), he was able to admire the unique Sunseeker design already
at a young age. And by coincidence, Jan
bought his first surfboard from our current
Management Board member Torsten
Sieckmann about 25 years ago.

Sein Lebenslauf gleicht einem Slalomlauf auf der Landkarte. Nach Stationen in Griechenland, Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Worms, Barcelona, Gran Canaria,
Lanzarote, Teneriffa, Fuerteventura, den Balearen und
Kuba ergriff er nach dem Abschluss als Dipl.-Betriebswirt die Möglichkeit, seinen absoluten Traumberuf zu
realisieren.
Diesen hat er bei Sunseeker Germany wahrlich gefunden: „Unsere Kunden sind Persönlichkeiten, die in ihrem
Leben etwas ganz Besonderes geleistet haben und
dabei immer Klasse und Bodenhaftung bewahren. Die

Mallorca, Golf, Tennis sowie ein gepflegter Skat mit seinen ältesten Freunden.

course. Following stations in Greece, Hanover, Hamburg,
Berlin, Frankfort, Worms, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, the Balearics and Cuba, he
seized the opportunity to work in his absolute dream job,
after finishing his degree in Business Administration.
He truly found his dream job with Sunseeker Germany:

Spending time with his family and the two dogs Amy and
Stewy, all kinds of water sports, jogging in the morning
around the Hamburg Lake Alster, hiking at “Weißensee” in
Austria and Mallorca, golf, tennis or a nice game of skat
with his oldest long-time friends are the perfect balance to
his everyday-life.

NEW SERVICE OFFICE AT THE BALTIC SEA
Im Juni bezog das Neustädter Serviceteam neue Räumlichkeiten. Das Büro inmitten der ancora Marina, Deutschlands größter 5-Sterne-Marina, bietet dem Serviceteam
fortan mehr Platz in einem modernen Ambiente. Es befindet sich gleich hinter der
Einfahrt in die Marina auf der linken Seite,
neben dem Kundencenter.
In June the service team from Neustadt at the Baltic
Sea moved to its new offices within the ancora Marina, Germany’s largest 5-star marina. Offering plenty of
space and a modern ambiance, the new
service office is located directly behind
the entrance to the marina on the left side,
next to the customer center.

SUNSEEKER GERMANY IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Erfreulich umfangreich war die Berichterstattung zur Probefahrt mit der Portofino 48, die im Rahmen der hanseboot 2010 mit einem ausgewählten Journalistenkreis auf
der Elbe stattfand. Die Fahrberichte wurden unter anderem in den Fachmagazinen Boote (Mai 2011), Skipper
(Februar 2011) oder Bootshandel (Mai 2011) veröffentlicht.
Anfang Juni testeten Hans Wischer und Christian Schneider, beides bekannte Redakteure in der Wassersportszene, die Predator 64 in der Lübecker Bucht. Der Artikel
wird vorraussichtlich in der September-Ausgabe von
Meer & Yachten und Wassersport zu lesen sein.
Gefragt sind Sunseeker Yachten aber nicht nur bei den
Printmedien, sondern auch bei den Fernsehsendern. So
drehte das ZDF Anfang Juni auf Mallorca für „Hallo
Deutschland“ auf der Manhattan 60.
Dabei gab Günter Büttner, der dem Team als Interviewpartner zur Verfügung stand, ein perfektes Bild ab.

with the Portofino 48, which took place during
hanseboot 2010 last October on the Elbe river with a
press team of selected journalists. The reports were published inter alia in the German specialist magazines
Boote (May 2011), Skipper (February 2011) and Bootshandel (May 2011). At the beginning of June, Hans Wischer and Christian Schneider, who both are well-known
journalists within the watersports scene, tested the Predator 64 in the Bay of Lübeck. This article will be due for
release in the September issues of Meer & Yachten and
Wassersport.
Not only is the print media interested in Sunseeker yachts,
but also the German TV channel ZDF shot a small reportage in early June on the island of Mallorca for a “Hello
Deutschland” documentary. Aboard a Manhattan 60,
Günter Büttner, who was answering the questions, was
perfectly prepared for the interview.
