Sunseeker & Sommer – das wirkt wie ein wake-up auf die Sinne. Da ist dieses einzigartige gefühl von Freiheit, wenn man
nichts weiter sieht als das Meer und den horizont. wenn der Fahrtwind und die maritime Luft Sie umgeben, während Sie
entspannt durch das tiefblaue Meer gleiten. Der endlos weite himmel, der sich nach den langen kühlen Monaten noch mehr
zu öffnen scheint. traumhafte Buchten, in denen man die Zeit vergisst. einfach herrlich!
alltag rückt in die Ferne. Loslassen wird zur kür. genuss ist Programm. Das spiegeln auch die themen in der Sommerausgabe
dieses Magazins wider.
ein abwechslungsreicher eventkalender drückt unserem Jubiläumsjahr den Stempel auf. Bereits im Frühjahr hatte das Sunseeker
team alle hände voll zu tun. Motorsport zu wasser und zu Lande, kombiniert mit kulinarischen und schmuckvollen highlights
prägten unsere hausmessen auf Mallorca und an der Ostsee. und noch bevor der Sommer seinen höhepunkt erreicht, stehen
uns zwei weitere highlights ins haus: Die Summer Cruise auf Mallorca und das Sunseeker rendezvous in Martinis Marchi
(kroatien) ende Juli mit einem ebenso vielfältigen wie hochkarätigen Programm, das Sie keinesfalls verpassen sollten.

Sunseeker & summer – it’s like a wake-up call for the senses. it’s that unique feeling of freedom, when all you can see is the sea
and the horizon. when you’re surrounded by the wind and salty air as you glide through the deep-blue sea without a worry
in the world. the vast, endless sky which, after the long cooler months, appears to lift and open up even more. Magical bays
where you can relax and lose track of time. Just amazing!
everyday life loses its importance. it’s all about unwinding and enjoying. this is also reflected in the topics covered in this
magazine’s summer edition.
Our anniversary year is filled with a wide variety of events. the Sunseeker team had their hands full as early as spring;
our in-house exhibitions in Mallorca and the Baltic featured motorsport on water and on land, combined with culinary and
tasteful highlights. and we’ve got two more highlights ahead of us even before summer reaches its climax: the Summer Cruise
in Mallorca and the Sunseeker rendezvous in Martinis Marchi (Croatia) at the end of July, with a programme so varied and
top-class you won’t want to miss it.
with long awaited world premieres, new partners and growing activities along the adriatic coast, this edition contains many

at boot in Düsseldorf where she was presented in 3D, the new Portofino 40 gave people plenty to talk about, although
she is not yet on the market. in September, she will be presented in Southampton for the first time.
Marking the return to this entry level length after some years’ absence, the Portofino 40 is the result of a long hard study
of a highly competitive market sector, and the upshot is an absolute class leading all-rounder.
every inch a Sunseeker, standards of design, build, finish and fitting are as on any in the range, so when she launches in
the summer she’ll be surrounded by marina envy. Superyacht designer ken Freivokh has also been drafted in to add a
suitably upmarket touch to the fit and finish.
in plan she’s a two cabin, four+one berth, family or friends boat with central saloon, galley and twin access head and
shower room. Beyond the exquisite owner stateroom forward, the surprise is the headroom and huge hullside windows in
the amidships cabin with its twin beds and third, child’s berth.
Back on deck, the large cockpit is key, made even bigger by clever convertible seating enhancing forward observation
and also sunpad extension. For choice of sun or shade there is an optional hardtop with electrically operated, sliding,
fabric roof.
Sterndrives rather than pods but still with joystick point-and-park control. the Portofino 40 is a true sports cruiser, with a
top speed of up to 34 knots.

auf der boot in Düsseldorf sorgte sie bereits für viel gesprächsstoff, obwohl es sie noch gar nicht gibt. Dort noch als 3D
Version präsentiert, wird die neue Portofino 40 im September in Southampton erstmalig live zu sehen sein.
Die Portofino 40 setzt in ihrer kategorie hohe Maßstäbe, nachdem sie einige Jahre vom Markt verschwunden war. als
ergebnis einer aufwendigen Studie der hart umkämpften Yacht-Branche und ihrer wettbewerber wird die Portofino 40
ein absolutes highlight und führender allrounder in ihrer klasse sein.
Jeder Zentimeter weist den gewohnten hohen Standard von Sunseeker in puncto Design, Verarbeitung und ausstattung
auf. Für das interieur wurde mit Superyacht-Designer ken Freivokh zusammen gearbeitet, der edelhölzer, hochwertige
Stoffe und Beleuchtungen in top-Qualität einsetzte.
geplant ist die Portofino 40 als 2-kabinen-Version für Familie oder Freunde bis zu 5 Personen mit Salon und küchenzeile
sowie einem zweiseitig begehbaren Duschbad. Überraschend ist nicht nur die besonders komfortable eignerkabine im
Vorschiff, sondern vor allem die Deckenhöhe, die bequemes Stehen ermöglicht, sowie die extragroßen Fenster in der
mittschiffs gelegenen gästekabine mit Doppelbett und zusätzlichem kinderbett.
auf dem hauptdeck befindet sich das geräumige Cockpit, das einen perfekten Überblick auf das geschehen liefert.
Die erweiterbaren Liegeflächen bieten viel Platz zum Sonnen und relaxen, die Sitzgruppe mit tisch lädt zum Lunch unter
freiem himmel ein. ein optionales hardtop mit elektrisch bedienbarem Stoff-Dach lässt die wahlmöglichkeit zwischen

im herbst 2012 wird die Predator 80 erstmalig präsentiert werden. Sie wird vor allem durch ihre Vielseitigkeit und wandelbarkeit auffallen, denn der eigner kann aus ihr exakt die Yacht machen, die er sich wünscht. ihren Möglichkeiten sind
keine grenzen gesetzt: mit arneson-antrieb ist sie ein 46 knoten geschoss oder – mit gemäßigteren antriebswellen – ein
eleganter 30-40 knoten Cruiser.
Die innenaufteilung des sportlichen rumpfes ist so gestaltet, dass in vier kabinen bequem acht gäste Platz finden. Zusätzlich ist eine kabine für die Crew oder eine fünfte gästekabine im heck vorgesehen. im eleganten, großzügigen Salon auf
einer ebene mit dem Cockpit findet man maximalen komfort und alle gewünschten annehmlichkeiten an Bord.

Set to launch in autumn 2012, the appeal of the Predator 80 is that you can make exactly what you want of her.
the options are wide: with arneson drives, she‘s a 46 knot flyer, or with more modest shafts and a choice of engines, a
nifty 30-40 knot distance cruiser. within a performance hull the interior layout will accommodate a guest party of eight
in a four cabin arrangement, with crew quarters or fifth guest suite in the stern, with a fabulous, wide opening, single level
saloon and aft cockpit for serious comfort and pleasure.
in the future there’ll be the option too of sports flybridge, and in the big stern garage there’s plenty of room for sizeable
tender plus skibob and jetski.
whatever you make of her, the Predator 80 is the only sportsyacht of this size providing such space... as well as pace.

the historical city harbor of Split was the venue again for the 14th edition of the Croatia Boat Show running from the
17 to 22 april 2012.
the Sunseeker germany adria team were proud to fly their flag for the second time at the show, with three craft on
display including the Predator 84 with 26.5 meters of length, Manhattan 60 and Portofino 47. Sunseeker had not only
the largest yacht on display, but also impressed with an elegant show booth with an adjacent open air terrace, offering
a fantastic view to the beautiful Old town of Split, which is always worth a trip.
Despite the low attendance of international clients, the team around Managing Director Marko toric welcomed many
local customers and interests, specifically during the weekend. Serious inquiries on the Manhattan range and the sale of
the displayed Portofino 47 generated an overall positive atmosphere.
the newly launched charter service on the adriatic proved to be very attractive to clients. the formation of Sunseeker
adria Charter is a further step to strengthen Sunseeker’s position in this region and meets the increasing demand of
customers asking for the service. (See also pages: 18 - 19).
the successful collaboration with five star luxury hotel Le Meridien Lav, with four yacht banners prominently displayed
in the hotel lobby, rounded off the overall appearance at this year’s Croatia Boat Show.

Der historische Stadthafen von Split war auch in diesem Frühjahr die stimmungsvolle austragungsstätte der Croatia Boat
Show, die vom 17. bis 22. april 2012 ihre 14. auflage erlebte.
Bereits zum zweiten Mal zeigte Sunseeker germany adria Flagge auf der für die region wichtigsten Bootsmesse.
Präsentiert wurden die 26,5m lange Predator 84, die Manhattan 60 sowie die Portofino 47. Sunseeker punktete nicht nur
mit dem größten exponat der Messe, sondern bot mit dem stilvollen Messestand und angrenzender Open-air terrasse
auch einen einzigartigen Blick auf die wunderschöne altstadt von Split, deren Besuch sich allemal lohnt.
auch wenn die internationale klientel der Messe eher fern blieb, konnte das team um Managing Director Marko toric
zahlreiche lokale kunden und interessenten begrüßen, insbesondere am wochenende. gezielte anfragen auf die
Manhattan-reihe und der Verkauf der ausgestellten Portofino 47 sorgten für eine positive Stimmung.

Seitdem wir im letzten Jahr die Vertriebsrechte für den östlichen Mittelmeerraum übernommen haben, erhielten wir verstärkt anfragen zum thema Charter an der adriaküste. und nicht selten fällt nach dem Charterurlaub die entscheidung

with their existing offices in icici (istria), tribunji and Marina Lav (Split). the new office‘s location in Marina Frapa guarantees
a faster and more flexible reaction to local needs.
the Marina Frapa branch office was opened in spring and will be managed by Jan Schwarze. as a long-standing member
of the Sunseeker team, his field of activity will include providing Sales and technical Support to german speaking customers.

with a throughout positive résumé Sunseeker Mallorca takes a look back to the “Sunseeker Open Days” held from
28 april to 1 Mai 2012 in Port adriano.
During the four days, hundreds of guests visited the office in Port adriano and enjoyed the relaxed, Mediterranean
ambience of the new Superyacht Marina, which was extremely well visited over the weekend, due to the “Mallorca
Superyacht Days” taking place at the same time.
One of the highlights of the event was the impressive setting of Sunseeker Yachts, especially the new Manhattan 53,
which was presented in Mallorca for the very first time, and was very well received by both visitors and press.
another highlight was the new association with the german Car Manufacturer wiesmann: Four wiesmann Cars consisting
of the roadster MF3, roadster MF4, roadster MF5 and gt MF5, which were specifically shipped to Mallorca for the
event, offered guests the opportunity for a test drive and to have a closer look at these beautifully hand-crafted sports
cars. the cooperation was a true success, with the result of direct sales during the event.
also Bodegas Castell Miquel and Jewellery rüschenbeck, both longstanding partners of Sunseeker germany were in
attendance to support the event, and reported a large number of new promising contacts. Sunseeker Mallorca benefited
from the interactive event programme and could not only increase its level of medial awareness, but also welcome many
existing customers and win many new prospective clients.

Mit einem durchweg positiven resümee blickt Sunseeker Mallorca auf die „Sunseeker Open Days“ vom 28. april bis
1. Mai 2012 in Port adriano.
hunderte gäste folgten unserer einladung nach Port adriano und genossen das lockere, mediterrane ambiente des
neuen Superyachthafens, der an dem wochenende ohnehin sehr gut besucht war auf grund der parallel stattfindenden
„Mallorca Superyachts Days“.
im Blickfang des events stand die beeindruckende kulisse der Sunseeker Yachten, insbesondere die neue Manhattan 53,
die erstmalig auf Mallorca präsentiert wurde und kunden, Besucher und Presse gleichermaßen begeisterte.
Premiere auch für die kooperation mit wiesmann: Vier wiesmann Sportwagen (roadster MF3, roadster MF4, roadster
MF5 und gt MF5) wurden eigens für diesen event nach Mallorca gebracht, um die handgefertigten PS-Boliden den
gästen in Form von Probefahrten näher zu bringen. ein voller erfolg, denn bereits vor Ort wurden Verkaufsabschlüsse
getätigt.
auch Bodegas Castell Miquel und Juwelier rüschenbeck, beides langjährige Partner von Sunseeker germany und
Mitaussteller bei den Open Days, meldeten sehr vielversprechende kontakte. Sunseeker Mallorca profitierte von dem
interaktiven eventprogramm und konnte nicht nur den Bekanntheitsgrad medial erweitern, sondern auch viele Bestandskunden begrüßen sowie zahlreiche neue interessenten gewinnen.

im april 2012 hat die niederlassung von Sunseeker germany auf Mallorca – die Sunseeker germany S.L. im hafen
von Port adriano – einen exklusiven kooperationsvertrag mit Sunseeker Spain abgeschlossen und agiert seither unter
dem namen „Sunseeker Mallorca“. Der Firmensitz bleibt in Port adriano und alle bisherigen ansprechpartner bleiben
selbstverständlich weiterhin bestehen.

am 20. Juni 2012 eröffnete in Port adriano die dritte rosemarine Boutique auf Mallorca. Mehr als 600 gäste kamen
zur einweihungsparty der Beach & Casual women Fashion Boutique in den neuen hafen.
es war ein toller event mit Champagner-empfang, Live-Musik, tänzern, Modenschau, kunstausstellung und Musik von DJ
ignace kDS. Der neue hafen zeigte sich dabei von seiner besten Seite.
highlight des abends: Das eintreffen der Sunseeker Predator 84 DreaM mit hübschen Bikini-Models an Bord. Passend
zum Sonnenuntergang zog sie mit ihrer schnittigen Linie und der tollen Performance alle Blicke auf sich. und die der Models
natürlich auch.
On 20 June 2012, in Port adriano, the new rosemarine opened its third boutique in Mallorca, with over 600 guests turning
out to celebrate the inauguration of the beach and casual women’s clothing store in the new harbor.
it was an eventful evening with Champagne brindis, live music, dancers, a fashion show, an art exhibition, and music by DJ
ignace kDS. and the new port showed off its best side.
as a highlight of the event, the Sunseeker Predator 84 DreaM arrived with bikini models onboard just when sunset started,
making heads turn with its sleek design and stunning performance. and of course, the models were a real head-turner, too.
MALLORCA GO KART GRAND PRIX
SunSeeker MaLLOrCa Put the PeDaL tO the MetaL
Vom 14. bis 15. april 2012 wurde in Port adriano so richtig Vollgas gegeben. Zum ersten Mal fand dort der „Mallorca
go kart grand Prix“ statt. insgesamt 23 teams gingen an den Start, darunter auch das Sunseeker Mallorca team, bestehend aus ronald Osterkamp, Xisco Prieto, Juan rotger, Simon Muldoon und andrew Forster.
Der grand Prix begann am Samstag mit dem warm-up und dem Qualifying, gefolgt von dem rennen am Sonntag.
Leider belegte das Sunseeker Mallorca team nur den vierten Platz im Qualifying, so dass das rennen selbst ohne sie
stattfinden musste. im Vordergrund des unvergesslichen wochenendes standen aber der Spaß und der adrenalinkick
des rennsports.
Sunseeker Mallorca put the pedal to the metal on 14 to 15 april 20012, with the first ever ‘Mallorca go kart grand Prix’
held in Port adriano. a total of 23 teams joined the race, including the Sunseeker Mallorca team which consisted of five
members including ronald Osterkamp, Xisco Prieto, Juan rotger, Simon Muldoon and andrew Forster.
the two day event kicked off with a warm-up on Saturday, followed by qualifying and the race on Sunday. regrettably,
the Sunseeker Mallorca team took the fourth place in the qualifying, so the final race took place without the team. the
weekend was great fun and the team enjoyed the speed and adrenalin buzz of the sport.

kunDeneVent in kOOPeratiOn Mit Lgt Bank
Vom 22. bis 23. Juni 2012 lud Sunseeker germany in kooperation mit der Lgt Bank zu einem Sommerwochenende am
genfer See.
Der zweitägige event startete mit einem sonnigen empfang auf der terrasse des Le Mirador kempinski hotels mit
traumhaftem Panoramablick auf den genfer See. im anschluss erwartete die mehr als zehn gäste ein exklusiver Besuch
in der huBLOt uhrenmanufaktur in nyon. Bei der interessanten Führung gewannen die gäste ausführliche einblicke in
den traditionellen herstellungsprozess von handgefertigten uhren, von der Fertigung der rohteile über die aufwändige
Veredlung, bis hin zur assemblierung und dem einschalen ins gehäuse.
während sich der nachmittag rund um edle uhren drehte, wurde abends gemütlich geschlemmt mit typischem käsefondue und hausgemachten wein inmitten eines idyllischen weingutes. Panoramablick auf den See inklusive.
am darauffolgenden tag genossen die gäste einen traumhaften Yachtausflug über den genfer See mit einer Portofino 48.
eine Führung durch das Schloss Chillon in Montreux, ein architektonisches Schmuckstück, direkt am genfer See gelegen
mit fantastischem ausblick auf die alpen, ergänzte das wochenende um die kulturelle note.

From 22 to 23 June 2012, Sunseeker germany in association with Lgt Bank hosted a summer weekend at Lake geneva.
the two-day-event started with a welcome cocktail at the sunny terrace of the Le Mirador kempinski hotel, offering a stunning panoramic view over Lake geneva, followed by an exclusive visit to the huBLOt watch manufacturer in nyon. More
than ten guests were invited to have the interesting tour around the workshops, and were provided with detailed insights
into the traditional manufacturing process of hand-crafted watches, from the production of the raw parts, to the complicated
finishing work, and the assembling and placing of the components in the housing.
while the day was all about fine watches, guests were spoilt in the evening with a traditional cheese fondue and home-made

a record breaking 17,000 visitors attended the hanseboot ancora
boat show which took place from June 1-3, 2012 in the ancora
Marina of the Lübeck Bay located in neustadt in holstein. the third
edition of this event gave the industry a stage to meet and kick off
the boating season at the start of the summer.
a large number of customers, from Flensburg to Frankfurt, followed
our invitation to the three day event to celebrate with us the official
start of the season and to receive information about what’s new
at Sunseeker. Many guests were in a cheerful mood and enjoyed
meeting their friends again, with ideal boat show weather conditions.
the Sunseeker pontoon with the numerous Sunseeker yachts on display proved to be the main attraction of the
hanseboot ancora boat show, including the Portofino 48 with its black hull and sleek line being a true eye catcher.
also, enthusiasts of hand-crafted sports cars got their money’s worth. the successful cooperation with wiesmann, a
german car manufacturer, was another attraction of the show’s program and came to a second round, after the first joint
collaboration during the Sunseeker Open Days in Mallorca from 28 april to 1 May 2012. two wiesmann cars were
prominently displayed in front of the office, offering exclusive test drives to Sunseeker guests.
Sunseeker germany’s jewellery partner, rüschenbeck also had a complementing presence on the stand, showing a
luxurious collection of elegant watches and beautiful gems whilst Caviar house & Prunier generously spoilt guests with
delicious Balik salmon.
the positive atmosphere, great collaboration with partners and the sale of two pre-owned yachts made the weekend a
huge success. the large number of visitors coming from Scandinavia was also positive.

am ersten Juniwochenende fand in Deutschlands größter 5-Sterne-Marina zum dritten Mal die hanseboot ancora boat
show in der ancora Marina in neustadt i.h. statt, die sich mit neuem Besucherrekord (17.000) mehr und mehr als Branchentreffpunkt zum Sommersaisonauftakt etabliert.
eine Vielzahl an Sunseeker kunden und Freunden, von Flensburg bis Frankfurt, folgte unserer einladung vom 1. bis 3. Juni
2012 nach neustadt i.h. und nutzte die gelegenheit, gemeinsam mit uns die neue Yachtsaison einzuläuten und über
neuigkeiten aus dem hause Sunseeker zu klönen. gut gelaunt und bei idealem Messewetter wurde so manches wiedersehen gefeiert.
Zum Zuschauermagneten der hanseboot ancora boat show zählte der Sunseeker Steg mit seiner Vielzahl an Motoryachten,
darunter die Portofino 48, die mit ihrem schwarzen rumpf und ihrer schnittigen Linie alle Blicke auf sich zog.
Das rennen um die gunst der Liebhaber von Sportwagen machten zwei spektakuläre wiesmann Fahrzeuge, die nicht
nur das Programm zur Freude aller Messebesucher bereicherten, sondern auch Sunseeker kunden für exklusive Probefahrten bereit standen. Die erfolgreiche kooperation ging mit dem gemeinsamen auftritt auf der hanseboot ancora boat
show in die zweite runde. Bereits während der Sunseeker Open Days auf Mallorca vom 28. april bis 1. Mai 2012 waren
die handgefertigten Sportwagen der eyecatcher schlechthin.
Mit an Bord war auch Sunseeker germany Partner Caviar house & Prunier, der die gäste mit kulinarischen Balik Lachskreationen verwöhnte, sowie Juwelier rüschenbeck mit einer auswahl an hochwertigen uhren und edlen Schmuckstücken.
Die positive Stimmung, tolle kooperationspartner und nicht zuletzt der Verkauf von zwei gebrauchtyachten sorgten für
ein überaus gelungenes wochenende. Lobenswert waren auch die zahlreichen Besucher aus Skandinavien.

MEET THE TEAM
FaCeS BehinD SunSeeker gerManY
sich im anschluss noch auf dem gebiet des Personalmanagements weitergebildet. Diese ausbildung, gepaart mit ihren
kenntnissen der kroatischen küste – „eine der traumhaftesten
der welt“, wie sie sagt – bildete die grundlage für ihre heutige Position als Charter Sales Manager. ihr großer wunsch
ist es, den bestmöglichen ausblick auf die schöne adriaküste
zu bieten, zum Beispiel von der Flybridge einer Manhattan
60, und die kunden emotional und kompetent für kroatien zu
begeistern.
Der einstieg bei Sunseeker im Januar 2012 war kein Zufall.
Zuletzt arbeitete Sanela vier Jahre als Direktorin in einer
Charterfirma, zuvor leitete sie ein unternehmen der Filmindustrie. Die aufgaben der geschäftsführung, die hohe Verantwortlichkeit und zahlreiche kontakte aus der nautik-Branche
haben sie optimal für die anspruchsvolle Position bei Sunseeker
germany adria vorbereitet. Zudem spricht sie perfekt Deutsch.
Der Beitritt in die Sunseeker Familie war für Sanela eine große
herausforderung, die sie mit Begeisterung angenommen hat.
ihre Freizeit verbringt sie mit ihrem Mann und ihrer 12-jährigen
tochter, die ebenso das Meer und die Schiffe liebt. gemeinsam genießen sie die natur, gehen gern Ski fahren, lieben
gutes essen und, sobald die temperaturen es erlauben, tauchen sie ein in die wellen der schönen adriaküste.
uros startete seine karriere bei Sunseeker als Sales Manager
in seinem heimatland Slowenien. in den sieben Jahren, die er
dort tätig war, sammelte er reichlich erfahrung. 2010 arbeitete er kurz für die Ferretti group, jedoch auf Drängen seines
Freundes Marko toric und torsten Sieckmanns kehrte er zu
Sunseeker zurück. Diesmal für die kroatische niederlassung
Sunseeker germany adria, wo er heute erfolgreich und mit
der gleichen Passion arbeitet wie zu Beginn seiner karriere.
Das dynamische geschäftsumfeld, die reisetätigkeit, das tolle
team und nicht zuletzt die zufriedenen kunden begeistern ihn
an seiner arbeit.

adria. Sanela also speaks german fluently. Stepping in the
Sunseeker family has been a great challenge for her that she
has accepted with great anticipation.
when she is not a Charter Sales Manager, she is a mom of
a twelve year old girl, who also adores sea and sailing since
an early age. in her leisure time Sanela spends time with her
daughter and husband, enjoying the nature, good food and
of course as soon as the sun is out, the waves of the beautiful
adriatic.
his first position at Sunseeker was as a Sales Manager for Slovenia, where he was born. he worked there for seven years,
and has acquired huge experience. after a short spell with
Ferretti group in 2010, at the urging of his friends Marko
toric and torsten Sieckmann, uros returned to Sunseeker. this
time to their Croatian subsidiary, Sunseeker germany adria,
where he now works successfully with the same passion he was
driven with from his beginnings in the industry. a dynamic
business environment, frequent travelling, an impressive team
of employees, and most importantly, many satisfied customers,
encourages uros to approach work with the same enthusiasm
that he felt from his first day at Sunseeker.

Save the date – For 2012/2013, we have planned again a number of exclusive customer
events & boat shows. the popular Summer Cruise in Mallorca will once again take place at
the end of July, and leads to Formentera this year. at the same time, the Sunseeker rendezvous in Martinis Marchi will be held on the Croatian island of Solta and is guaranteed to be
