EXTRACHEM
Synthetic Water Soluble Colours
Water soluble dyes dissolve in each and every product and application where free water is available
as this is how the colour is delivered. Available in powdered or granular form, or even as predissolved liquid, water soluble colours of EXTRACHEM achieve high levels of solubility, exceptionally
low insolubles and are handled through an extensive cleaning process to create higher than average
purity levels. Certainly all colours are conforming to the Directive 231/2012/EU.
Synthetische Wasserlösliche Farbstoffe
Wasserlösliche Farbstoffe lösen sich in jedem Produkt und jeder Anwendung auf, in dem freies
Wasser verfügbar ist. EXTRACHEM bietet wasserlösliche Farbstoffe als Puder, Granulat und sogar als
vorgelöste Flüssigkeiten an, die sich durch eine sehr hohe Löslichkeit und einen außergewöhnlich
geringen Anteil an unlöslichen Partikeln auszeichnen. Aufgrund unseres aufwendigen
Reinigungsprozesses erreichen die Farbstoffe eine weitaus höhere Reinheit als andere am Markt
angebotene Proukte. Selbstverständlich entsprechen alle Farbstofe der Richtlinie 231/2012/EU.

Water Insoluble Lake Colours
Lake colours are solid particles of colour which do not dissolve in water and do not “bleed”, by
contact with water. Lake colours are water soluble colours bonded on Alumina substrate which
results in better light stability than water soluble colours and furthermore offer an opportunity to
colour items where water soluble colours are not able to do so, such as Oils and Fats, by dispersion
in the product. EXTRACHEM Lake Colours are available in powdered form as well as a variety of
dispersions ready-to-use.
Wasserunlösliche Farbstoffe / Lakes
Wasserunlösliche Pigmente sind die Feststoffteilchen der Farbstoffe, die sich nicht in Wasser
auflösen und nicht “bluten”, wenn sie mit Wasser in Berührung kommen. Wasserunlösliche
Pigmente sind wasserlösliche Farbstoffe, die von einer Aluminiumbeschichtung ummantelt sind, was
in besserer Lichtstabilität verglichen mit wasserlöslichen Farbstoffen resultiert. Da sich die
Farbpigmente in der Matrix des Produktes befinden, können auf diese Weise auch Produkte gefärbt
werden, bei denen wasserlösliche Produkte versagen, wie beispielsweise Öle und Fette. Alle
wasserunlöslichen Pigmente der EXTRACHEM sind sowohl in Puderform als auch diversen
verwendungsbereiten Dispersionen erhältlich.

All colours meet the purity criteria stated in the EC Colours Directive 231/2012/EC.

EXTRACHEM – Colouring Foodstuffs
Colouring Foodstuffs are ingredients that can be used within a food product to import colour, made
from fruits, vegetables and edible plants.
Customers should be aware that on 29.11.2013, guidance was released by the European
Commission to be used in conjunction with Regulation 1333/2008 for the evaluation of
whether or not a product may be used as a Colouring Foodstuff or labelled as a colour (on
the proviso that it has Natural Colour status according to Regulation 231/2012).
EXTRACHEM – Färbende Extrakte
Färbende Extrakte werden aus Beeren, Früchten, Gewürzen, Gemüse und eßbaren Pflanzen
gewonnen, die auf natürliche Weise Farbe enthalten. Färbende Extrakte können aufgrund Ihrer
Bearbeitung als Clean Label-Produkte ausgezeichnet werden.
Kunden sollten beachten, dass ab 29.11.2013 die neue Richtlinie 1333/2008 von der
Europäischen Kommission in Kraft getreten ist, die neu definiert, ob ein Produkt als
Färbender Extrakt oder als natürlicher Frabstoff (mit E-Nummer) deklariert werden darf.

Organic - D&C Grade Colours and other colours for cosmetics
The D&C colours are manufactured to a specification laid out by the US Food & Drug
Administration under CFR21. A sample from each batch is then sent to the FDA for approval,
whereupon it is allocated a specific D&C approved batch number. The synthetic Food dyes and
lakes are not listed here but in the list for food dyes.
Organisch - D&C-zertifizierte Farbstoffe und andere Farbstoffe für den Einsatz in
Kosmetika
Die D&C-Farbstoffe werden gemäß den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen der Amerikanischen Food &
Drug Administration (FDA) gemaß CFR21 hergestellt. Jede Batch wird mittels Musters von der
FDA analysiert, freigegeben und unter der individuellen zertifizierten Batch-Nummer geführt.
Die synthetischen wasserlöslichen und verlackten Farbstoffe sind hier nicht nochmals gelistet,
sondern im Kapitel der Lebensmittel-Farbstoffe aufgeführt.

Fragrances are produced in an EHO inspected production site. The company is a registered member of
the International Fragrance Association IFRA and equipped with GC-MS technology, the QC laboratory
assures full batch to batch consistency. Production capability exceeds 2,500kg per day. The fragrances
/ flavours are mainly used in the following sectors:

EXTRACHEM – Duftstoffe
Unsere Duftstoffe werden in einer EHO geprüften Produktion produziert. Die Firma ist ein registriertes
Mitglied der IFRA (International Fragrance Association) und ist ausgestattet mit GC-MS Technologie;
das QC-Labor gewährleistet volle Batch-zu-Batch-Konsistenz. Die derzeitige Produktionskapazität
umfasst 2.500 kg pro Tag. Die Duftstoffe / Aromen werden vorwiegend in den folgenden Bereichen
