Mission Rose Quiltery & Knittery
Autumn 2009
Welcome Back!
Awesome Autumn
Teacher’s Day
Saturday Sept 19
12:00 – 4:00 pm
Let’s fall back into quilting & knitting at MRQ.
We have a terrific lineup of classes & events
this fall. Drop by and
take a peek at all the
new fabrics, samples &
classes & chat with our
teachers.
As I sat down to write this edition of the MRQ newsletter
I had just dropped my children off for their first day of
school. Yes, our rainy summer was over and it was back
to work for all of us. I started to think that is seems like
just yesterday that our family moved here and our
daughter Savannah was joining a kindergarten class
already in its second month of class. Now she is the big
kid at school in the 6th grade! Time is flying by...which
brings me to the fact that Mission Rose is celebrating
our 5th anniversary in September! It’s hard to believe!!
We are going to commemorate this milestone by launching our own line of patterns - Mission Rose Designs with
lead designers Carol Kozlowski and Connie Ostness. We
will debut our first pattern, Five Roses and Counting, at
our Teacher’s Day Saturday September 19. Stop by to see
our beautiful quilt and pick up your kit.
It is going to be an awesome Autumn and we
look forward to sharing it with all our quilting
& knitting friends…
Mary
