The private camp can be found in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve neighbouring
the Kruger National Park. The reserve is a wildlife sanctuary boasting an array of
animal life including the ‘Big 5'. The reserve is also home to the celebrated white lions.
A waterhole right in front of the camp attracts a wide variety of wildlife day and night. It
offers hospitality from a long-gone time in an exclusive romantic ambience, and invites
guests to live in fine colonial style, combined with service that puts the desires of our
guests first. Eastgate Airport is ± 40min drive to the camp and there are helicopter
transfers directly into Kings Camp. Road transfers are available from any airport to the
lodge.
The main camp offers a number of living areas for you to just sit back, relax in the
serenity of the African bush. A thatched viewing deck overlooking a very active
waterhole and an open plan lounge, and bar are the ideal place to be out the heat of
the day. Our spacious dining room offers superb views. A library is filled with a
collection of fictional and non-fictional books and there is internet access 24 hours a
day and satellite TV. Two spacious, air-conditioned suites perfect for a private
honeymoon are beautifully decorated and have an open plan lounge. The two suites
are equipped with all deluxe modern amenities including Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee
machine, a fully stocked mini-bar, robes, mosquito repellent and more. Your suite is
also equipped with its own safe and telephone.
Each suite in the luxury bush lodge has a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom
including a bathtub, double basins, indoor, outdoor showers and veranda access.
The main camp has a large terrace and thatched viewing deck from where to watch
the busy waterhole. There is a large swimming pool for a cool dip and the traditional
boma is a truly memorable way to experience an evening under the African night sky.
Fine cuisine and wines can be sampled while sitting near a warm crackling fire. Every
