A newly built luxury rental villa, providing panoramic views over
the pristine hills of the island, St Jean and the Caribbean sea,
has been constructed near to the crest of Gouverneur.
Gouverneur is a well-loved favourite among tourists to St. Barth,
because the private villas on the hillside, like this one, enjoy an
unobstructed view of uniquely beautiful natural surroundings.
The beach, with its quiet waters, is within easy reach. From the
crossroads at the top of the hill you are the same distance from
Saline Beach and the village of St. John, and with the quiet
back route you can drive to town in a few minutes. The
exclusive neighbourhood houses a nice restaurant, a
convenient grocery shop and a classy fitness centre.
The impressive contemporary property has been designed as three individual
pavilions separated and connected by an intricate system of wooden decks and
branches of the beautiful infinity pool. The cathedral-style ceilings and large volumes
create a sense of space and ethereal tranquillity. Due to the architectural design, the
villa is seamlessly integrated into the surrounding landscape and provides complete
privacy. The living room pavilion, located opposite the dining and modern kitchen unit,
is open on all four sides and leads directly to the outdoor living area on the pool deck.
Four stylish bedrooms with king-size beds, dressing rooms and state-of-the-art en
suite bathrooms can sleep eight guests in luxury. The bedrooms each have a ceiling
fan as well as air-conditioning, mosquito screen, flat screen TV, DVD player, minibar
and a safe. The bedrooms provide lovely views on the garden and open onto outdoor
seating under a gazebo an impressive black lava plunge pool.
