This traditional private villa is built above the quaint seaside
town of Positano. With spectacular views of the turquoise ocean
dotted with sailing boats, this residence provides a fairy-tale
location for those wishing to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The fully
renovated 18th century villa combines traditional elegance with
modern comforts. A private suite for two is also situated in the
villa, but is completely secluded.
The luxury rental villa has three floors, each with a terrace
overlooking the bay. The open plan of the ground floor allows
easy access between the large drawing room with its period
furniture and genuine masters painting, the ornately decorated
dining room and the large outdoor terrace. The terrace is
decorated with period amphorae and, with its lavish garden
furniture, is an excellent location for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Also on the ground floor is a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen
complete with ice-maker, dishwasher and freezer.
The large villa sleeps fourteen guests. One bedroom is located
on the ground floor, and four bedrooms are on the upper floor,
each with a balcony opening onto a long terrace with
breathtaking views. The bedrooms have frescoed domes with
original paintings, period furniture and marble fireplaces. The
doors are painted by artists from the School of Naples and the
terracotta floors have pleasing ceramic decorations. The
bedrooms also all have en suite bathrooms which have been
restored recently and are decorated with antique tiles. The two
bedrooms on the lower floor have an independent entrance.
