Dieser einfache Aspekt der Beständigkeit und das Zusammenspiel von
Strukturen und Farben versprechen Nachhaltigkeit in der kontemporären
Kunst, die den Lebenspuls für Basel und ähnliche Veranstaltungen darstellt.
Mit dem Aufblühen der lateinamerikanischen Kunst begeistert seit 2002 die
Art Basel in Miami Beach die Kunstszene. Genauso bedeutend war die
Ausweitung der Art Basel in die Region Asien/Pazifik: Im Jahr 2013 fand
die erste Art Basel Hong Kong statt. Damit unterhält die Art Basel nunmehr drei Standorte, die unter der Leitung von Marc Spiegler perfekt
miteinander harmonieren.

here is something about a 44 year old fair which tickles a vibrating sound to everyone’s ear … Art Basel is a solid structure.
Short of half a century, this year's edition basked in relationships
between art connoisseurs which number in the thousands and
a selection of 285 diversified galleries that it represents emanating from
34 countries. The sheer limelight and suspense, the compendium of art works
that appear as aesthetic touchstones come to the fore. It is this simple facet of
duration and constituency of sight, paired with innovation which hands the
promise of upholding sustainability in contemporary art inevitably forming
the very basic artery in Basel and beyond. As Latin American art titillated its
beat, then came the offshoot of Art Basel in Miami in 2002. Not to be left
behind as the cultural hub of Asia-Pacifc was an acquisition: Art Basel HongKong launched its inaugural show in 2013. Hence, three Art Basel compounds
with superb dynamic relationships under the rightful baton of Marc Spiegler.
