Ascent on Schmittenhöhebahn. Hike along the high altitude promenade
(suit­able for prams and strollers). Including info panels, panorama platforms, marmot den and wood-carved sculptures. Descent on Sonnenalm- & Sonnkogelbahn. This tour is equally enjoyable in the oppposite
direction.

Erlebniswanderweg mit Geschicklichkeitsstationen für die ganze Familie. Berg- und Talfahrt mit Areitbahn I oder cityXpress.
PINZGAUER SPAZIERGANG NR. 719
Anspruchsvolle Höhenwanderung für geübte Wanderer: Auffahrt mit
der Schmittenhöhebahn. Wanderung entlang des Pinzgauer Spaziergangs. Abstieg ins Tal ist zu jedem Ort im Oberpinzgau bis Stuhlfelden
möglich oder Talfahrt in Saalbach mit dem Schattberg X-Press. Rückfahrt
mit dem Bus oder der Pinzgauer Lokalbahn zum Ausgangsort Zell am
See.
PINZGAU STROLL NO. 719
Demanding high altitude hike for experienced hikers: ascent with
Schmittenhöhebahn. Hike along Pinzgau Stroll. Descent to the valley is
possible to every village in upper Pinzgau to Stuhlfelden or in Saalbach
with the Schattberg X-Press cable car. Return trip by bus or on Pinzgauer
Lokalbahn to point of departure Zell am See.
SISI ROUND TRIP NO. 1
Ascent with Schmittenhöhebahn. Easy hike (about 30 min.) with
interesting information spots about Empress “Sisi”. Starting point is the
Elisabeth chapel.
HIKING TRAIL NO. 64
Comfortable hike from Sonnkogel to Sonnenalm with panorama platform at Wankrautalm. The hike starts from Sonnkogelbahn mountain
station. This tour is equally enjoyable in the oppposite direction.
PFAFFENKENDELSTEIG NO. 69
Due to its protective forest terrain, this hike is a good tip for hot summer
days. The easy-going hiking trail starts just below the summit of the
Schmittenhöhe at the Pinzgau Stroll and leads down to the valley or
comfortably to the mountain terminals of the cityXpress or Areitbahn I.
· Valid for all hikes: please wear hiking clothes and sturdy hiking boots.

SISI-RUNDWEG NR. 1
Bergfahrt mit der Schmittenhöhebahn. Gemütlicher Rundwanderweg
(ca. 30 Minuten) mit Infotafeln über die Kaiserin „Sisi“. Ausgangspunkt
ist die Elisabethkapelle.
WANDERWEG NR. 64
Gemütliche Wanderung vom Sonnkogel zur Sonnenalm mit Aussichtsplattform bei der Wankrautalm. Ausgehend von der Sonnkogelbahn
Bergstation. Tour auch in entgegengesetzter Richtung möglich.
PFAFFENKENDELSTEIG NR. 69
Durch die geschützte Waldlage besonders an heißen Tagen sehr zu em­
pfehlen. Der gemütliche Wanderweg beginnt etwas unterhalb des Gipfels der Schmittenhöhe am Pinzgauer Spaziergang und führt bis ins Tal
oder bequemer zu den Bergstationen des cityXpress oder der Areibahn I.
· Für alle Wanderungen gilt: Wanderbekleidung und festes Schuhwerk.
· Für Unfälle und Verletzungen übernimmt die Schmittenhöhebahn AG keinerlei
Haftung.

Feuchtfröhlicher Spaß am Speicherteich Plettsaukopf, wo sich
alles rund ums Wasser dreht. Pumpen, matschen, plantschen
und dabei noch von Schmidolin lernen, warum das Wasser im
See so wichtig ist. Lustig wird es bei der Spritzstation, wo man
mit einer Wasserspritze auf den schwimmenden Schmidolin
zielen muss. Und wer es ruhiger angehen will, kann einfach nur
faulenzen, relaxen und das wunderschöne Panorama genießen.

Die Skulpturen entlang der Wanderwege und Pisten, am Speicherteich Brunnermais sowie der Seilbrunnen bei der Talstation
Schmittenhöhebahn bieten die Grundlage für die 4 Seen Kunstwanderung. Diese Wanderung bringt die Besucher mit der Natur
und den entstandenen Kunstwerken in Berührung. Sie führt
durch einen der größten Kunsträume Europas, ein 18 Hektar
großes Areal, welches sich über den ganzen Berg erstreckt.

The sculptures along the hiking trails and ski slopes, at reservoir
Brunnenmais and the cable-fountaine at the valley station of the
Schmittenhöhebahn serve as the basis of the 4 lakes art hike. This
hike brings visitors close up with nature as well as the works of
art which lace the way. The hike leads through one of the largest
outdoor art spaces in Europe, a huge area (18 ha) which spreads
out over the entire mountain.
