A Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of the Township of Springfield in the County
of Union, New Jersey, was held at the Jonathan Dayton High School Instructional Media
Center-First Floor on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 7:30 P.M.
President’s Statement: Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, Public Law
1975, Chapter 231, the Board Secretary caused notice of the meeting to be given to the
public and the press on April 23, 2007.
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Board President, Mrs. Judith Millman

Board certify that to the best of its knowledge as of January 31, 2008 no major
account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13 (b) and
that sufficient funds are available to meet the district’s financial obligations for the
remainder of the fiscal year.

reached 1,500 points for her career at Dayton
d. JSA performed outstanding recently during the JSA Winter conference in
Washington DC
e. Miss Duke will need a Board member to cover upcoming Walton PTA
meeting on March 5, 2008
f. Boys and Girls basketball teams each have a State Tournament game at
Dayton. Girls on Tuesday, February 26th; Boys on Thursday, February 28th.
