Philippians 2:11-13King James
Version (KJV)
11 And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye
have always obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but now much more
in my absence, work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in
you both to will and to do of his
good pleasure.

JUNIOR GO-DEVILS
FALL TO PRESCOTT -
The Junior Go-Devils traveled to
Prescott Thursday to suffer a 3914 loss, but they still had the
enthusiasm necessary to come
home and burn a Curley Wolf in
agreement with their cheerleaders
and fans that the Senior High
School Go-Devils would host and
roast Prescott on Friday night,
Sept. 5. Results of that game will
be in next week’s Tailgate News.
The photo shows Junior High
School cheerleaders getting ready
for the roasting of a Curley Wolf
Thursday night. Spectators at the
Burning of the Curley Wolf told
this reporter it was the first time
they could remember for seven
years that Gurdon’s Junior GoDevils did not defeat the Junior
Curley Wolves. (John Nelson
