Management Spotlight: Ms.
Katie Bursley
This month we are highlighting Ms. Katie Bursley, our Director of Catering. Katie received
her Bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration from
Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Belmont, she completed a number of
internships, organized a regional conference for her PR group and spent the summer working
with a wedding planner. Soon after graduation, she moved to Shreveport and was immediately
hired at the Petroleum Club. In 2015, the Club had its best year in banquet sales thanks to
Katie's hard work and attention to detail.
Katie represents the Petroleum Club well as she is active in the Shreveport Bossier
Community. She is the Social Chair for the Chamber's Young Professional Initiative and she is
the Vice President of Public Service for the Public Relations Association of Louisiana. In 2015,
she was named the Member of the Year for PRAL and she has been inducted into this year's
impressive class of 40 Under 40. When she isn't working at the Club, you're likely to find her
volunteering, running with her dogs or hanging out with her husband.

We now have Monday through Friday lunch parking
available for our members. The Douglas Parking Garage is
located on the corner of Edwards and Travis Street. When
you park, bring your parking ticket and Teressa will be
happy to validate that for you.
Parking after 5:00 and on the weekends has not changed.
The Chase Parking Garage, across the street from the front
of our building, is complementary to our guests after 5:00
during the week and on the weekends.
