This year they will be helping families whose homes were damaged by the hurricane in New Jersey along the shore. They are selling "stock" to help pay for the cost of the trip. If you would like to support them financially, the stock is $10 apiece and gets you a letter while on the trip as well as the annual ice cream social and slide show. Checks can be made out to the North Olmsted United Methodist Church with Rausch and youth mission on the memo line please. If you have any questions, please see Ethan, Madison or Susan, or email at [email protected]. Thank you! Courses this Winter/Spring 2013 Please join us this week as our classes continue! Please see Nicole Humphrey ([email protected] , 440-4270601 or Susan Rausch ([email protected]) if you have questions. Thank You Advent’s volunteers out-did yourselves again! Thank you for the generous portions of food and love. We served about 60 guests (and had food for about 85+) so there was plenty available for 2nd’s and 3rd’s plus some brought containers and took food home. The Johnny Marzetti recipe that included cream cheese (or so it seemed) got Blue Ribbon remarks from the guests – however all guests were their usual gracious and appreciative selves. Almost to a person each guest had a smile and a big thank you when we served them. You have made a huge, loving difference in the lives of 60 guests and Metanoia staff people last Sunday night. Thank you! Mark your calendars Please join us Saturday March 23 from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. for egg dying in the Parish Hall. All you need to bring is you eggs (hard boiled, please!) and a dye kit. We’re certain to have an “egg-cellent” time! Coffee, iced tea and children’s drink provided. If you are interested in bringing a snack, please see Nicole Humphrey (email [email protected] or call (440) 427-0601). All ages welcome.
