he exceptional beef used throughout our
menu now comes from the multi award
winning Neston Park Farm shop.
All the beef we sell has been reared locally; Neston Park’s own herd
of “Black & Tans,” and Tom King’s “Aberdeen Angus.” Both herds
have been raised organically, using traditional husbandry and are
free to graze naturally. They are free from growth hormones and
other chemicals to allow natural development, as nature intended.
All beef is hung for at least 28 days, ensuring that the meat is as full
flavoured and tender as possible, before being butchered and
trimmed on site by Neston Park’s own team of master butchers.
A
t The Bath Sausage Shop in Green Street, all
sausages are made with free range meats, using
oats instead of rusk or processed bread. They
contain less salt & fat. They’re also free from artificial
additives, colourants & preservatives and encased in natural skins.

elling ethically sourced fish & seafood is at
the core of Rob Wing’s beliefs. For twenty
five years he has been committed to ensuring
a healthy future for Cornish fish and fishing, buying
directly from local inshore fishermen and markets, picking only the
best on sale that day. It is skilfully prepared and sold that day, with
around 50% of the waste being returned to the fisherman as part of a
“free bait” scheme, and the rest is turned into Bio-gas! As a fitting
testimony to the quality of the fish they sell they are holders of no
less than 5 Great Taste Award, Star ratings.

in 2003, becoming bakers and purveyors of
truly outstanding handmade pies.
Crafted using the freshest ingredients they can get their hands on,
sourcing locally to ensure that there is as little time as possible
between farm and plate. Free range British eggs & chickens that
roam freely outside; to British, Farm Assured beef & goat’s cheese
from the Lubborn Creamery in Somerset. Bound in tasty short crust
pastry, the pies are out of this world & have won more awards than
you could throw a perfectly good pie at!
E
very cup of coffee we serve has been made
using 100% Rainforest Alliance Arabica,
sourced from remote villages in Honduras,
Peru and Columbia. Lavazza believe that good
farming practices can: produce top quality beans; better prices for
farmers; sustain local communities and help conserve the rainforest,
all at the same time. The farmers are provided with guidance on
farming, training and capital. They’re taught how to protect the
wildlife & habitat, plant trees, combat pests without pesticides,
rebuild houses & replace old mills with machines that use less water,
compost organic wastes and implement worker health and safety
programs. Lots of work for Lavazza - great, “happy” coffee for you!
