Waka Flocka will begin taping the music video for “Get Low” this week in Atlanta. The left-field
club record for the rapper features Nicki Minaj, Tya & Flo-Rida and marks Waka’s attempt at
filling in as a more well-rounded artist while growing his expanding audience.

Making good on a July 12 promise, Waka Flocka will release a new mixtape in the next few days
after successfully reaching his 1 millionth twitter follower. Eager fans helped the rapper reach his
goal by making #WakaFlockaFollowMe a trending topic around the world prompting over 250k
mentions. Shortly after attaining this milestone Waka tweeted, “Just waiting on the cover and
mixing #TapeDone.”
In October of 2010, Waka Flocka Flame burst onto the scene with his debut album Flockaveli
which was dubbed as "the most anarchic rap album of 2010." Led by the #1 single and tripleplatinum "No Hands" featuring Wale and Roscoe Dash, Flockaveli debuted at #6 with over 300k

copies sold to date. On June 13 Waka released his follow-up record Triple F Life: Friends, Fans
& Family which debuted at #10 on the Billboard Top 200. Led by the singles “Round of Applause”
