MANIFESTO
I, Durgesh Panwar (130110060), if elected to the post of Sports Secretary of Hostel-6, propose
to do the following:INITIATIVES:



Organize intra-hostel events: Basketball and Volleyball
Update the point-table on the hostel notice board after each match of GC
Update the hostel website every month including each GC player’s details
INTRA HOSTEL:


Organize intra-hostel events: Chess, Carrom and Table-Tennis
Ensure that there are no clashes of any of the above mentioned events with major cultural
events 
GENERAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:




Ensure active participation of the entire hostel with notices and posters on the notice board
Conduct trial-and-practice sessions and intra-hostel matches a week prior to the GC
Provide adequate refreshments to the players during GC
Honour the star players of GC with special recognition posting their names and photos in
Lounge
MAINTENANCE:
 Maintain and repair all the sports equipment in the hostel, and buy new sports utilities if
necessary
 Maintain the conditions of football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, table-tennis
table and pool table
 Ensure proper functioning of gymnastics’ equipments
 Ensure levelling of football field and proper working of the lights on all game venues
AS A HOSTEL COUNCIL MEMBER:
 Coordinate with other council members to organize other hostel events properly including
PAF, Valedictory Function etc 
CREDENTIALS:
Played
in the event CricMania with the team finishing second

 Represented school in numerous inter-school competitions

