Comprising Galway University Hospitals, Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe Galway, Mayo General Hospital, Sligo
Regional Hospital, Letterkenny General Hospital and Roscommon Hospital, the Group provides a comprehensive
range of Medical, Surgical, Paediatric and Obstetric Services to emergency and elective patients on an inpatient,
outpatient and day care basis across the West-North region of Ireland. All Hospitals in the Group are affiliated
to the National University of Ireland at Galway and are involved in the training of medical and other healthcare
professionals.
The Group has vacancies for the following medical staff. All Registrar posts are for one and two years and longer
duration to suitable applicants. Advice with relocation will be provided to suitable candidates. All posts are in
busy acute hospital settings.

three directorates for duration of 6 or 12 months.
Rotations between sites will be possible for 12 month
posts. These will incorporate the opportunity to work
in different specialties.
