ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Kamaraj College of Engineering &
Technology, a self-nancing institution, offers
Quality Technical Education over a decade. This
institution has been approved by All India
Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New
Delhi and afliated to Anna University, Chennai.
The college offers ten UG and eight PG
programmes in Engineering and Technology and
one 5 year integrated M.Sc in Software Systems.
The Department of Biotechnology, Polymer
Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engg.,
Physics and Chemistry are recognized as
Research Centers by Anna University, Chennai.
The institute focuses on multi-disciplinary skills
of students endorsed with industry-institute

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Electrical and
Electronics Engineering was started in the year
2002 and is accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The
Department has a PG course in Power Systems
Engineering and is recognized as Research
center by Anna University, Chennai. The
Department has highly qualied and experienced
faculty members with different elds of
specialization. The department is nourished with
latest equipments and computing facilities
supported by software such as ETAP, PSCAD,
POWER WORLD, CYME, MATLAB and
LABVIEW.
The seminar contents will be delivered by
experts from pioneering academic institutions
like IIT, NIT, TCE, MSEC, etc.

accommodation and no TA/DA will be
provided to the participants. However on
request and depending on availability,
accommodation could be provided in our
college hostels at a nominal rate.

district. It is nearer to many places namely
