The theoretical experience gained at IBCM
proved more than valuable to me during my
Internship.
As part of my studies at IBCM, I was an Energy
Policy and Management Intern at the Great
Plains Institute for Sustainable Development in
Minneapolis, USA, from 8 April 2013 to 6
September 2013 and the beforehand knowledge
that I had obtained helped me overcome all of
the challenges that I faced there working on the
many project the institute was involved in.
My hard work in the end was rewarded with the
publishing of a report named Energy Star
Buildings: A Minnesota Market Report with my
name in it.
"Being part of a small society of a newborn
country, my aim for the future is becoming a
part of a wider community in this new emerging
global environment. IBCM offers academic
quality and diverse environment for
self-development that has benefited me vastly.
The skills and knowledge gained, have hugely
contributed in my performance in my
Internship in Kosovo Environmental Protection
Agency. The experience and the established
connections of my Internship, have presented
me with numerous opportunities that will aid
me in my future endeavors and career."
“Lira has done an internship with Kosovo
Environmental Protection Agency for three
months from 11 March 2013 till 11 June 2013
as part of her studies. During her internship,
she was responsible for Creating a fan page for
the organization; assisting in the organization
of workshops, seminars and conferences;
Identifying illegal landfills in the field.
