Manage supply Chain in compliance with SCM delegations, PFMA, Treasury
Regulation and Treasury Practice notes to prevent irregular expenditure,
unauthorised expenditure and wasteful/fruitless expenditure.
Monitoring expenditure trends on all responsibilities under ltshelejuba
Hospital (District Hospital and Clinics) and ensure expenditure is within an
approved budget.
Maintain adequate availability of stores and supplies at all the times.
Authorizing of all BAS transaction after monitoring and verification
documentations.
Ensuring that payments for suppliers paid are within thirty days on the invoice
received date.
Conduct internal audit and risk management in SCM, Finance, Asset,
Revenue and Patient Admin section.
Conducting In-Year Monitoring for ltshelejuba (Accounts payable, Budget and
Suspense accounts).
Provide Finance Manager and Hospital Manager with reliable financial
information to facilitate effective planning and decision making.
Coordinate budgetary requirements for District Hospital and Clinics.
Monitor collection of revenue and authorizing receipts on BAS.
Monitoring of banking of services and reconciliations.
Advise Responsibility Managers and Programme Managers about their
expenditure and balances of available budget for future use in each items and
objective.
Monitor revenue collection and banking services
Ensuring Effective functioning of Financial Management Committees i.e. Bid
Specification Committees, Bid Evaluation Committee and Bid Adjudication
Committee.
Monitor staff performance and providing training in terms of EPMDS.
