Upcoming Events & Notices
LENTEN SERVICES: We will have quiet, contemplative Holy Communion services on
Wednesday evenings at 7:30 during Lent. Take a break from the busy days to reflect on our
Lenten journey and to give thanks for our faith. The services will be followed by an adult
education forum.
ADULT FORUM ON HOLY CURRENCIES: Six Blessings for Sustainable Missional Ministries is
the focus for our Lenten series. Written by The Rev. Eric Law, an Episcopal priest, the book
offers new insights into God's abundance by helping us explore the currencies of Relationship,
Truth, Wellness, Gracious Leadership, Time and Place, as well as Money. Kimberly Axtell and
Linda Taylor will lead our exploration. Reading the book is recommended but not required to
enjoy the forum. The class will be offered three times each week: Sundays at 8:30am and 12n
beginning Feb. 22, and Wednesday evenings at 8pm, beginning Feb. 25.
LENTEN QUIET MORNING: Transforming from Coal to Crystal through Cross and Crucible.
Join Linda Taylor and Wilma Jakobsen at St. Jude’s on Saturday, February 28 from 9:30 to 12:30.
Make space for quiet, reflection and God to open our hearts and minds to the possibility of
renewal, reforming and transforming our lives this Lent.
EASTER LILIES You are invited to help beautify the sanctuary and narthex for Easter! You can
do so by donating for Easter lilies. The lilies are $13 each. Please fill the out the slip found in the

church office or place it in Margot Janiak’s mailbox by Sunday, March 29th.
