Second-Ponce de Leon’s 2015 Vacation Bible School welcomed the children to
experience “Bible Blast From the Past.” Thanks to the efforts of dedicated volunteers
and helpers, the children spent the week having a blast serving Jesus. In addition to
their daily mission emphasis, VBS Campers collected $655.72 in offerings that will go
towards purchasing school supplies for Edgewood Church. Lindsey Richardson,
Minister to Families with Children, extends a big thank you to all the VBS volunteers
and to those who donated supplies for our decorations and crafts. The Children’s
Ministry also expresses gratitude to our entire church family for their efforts and
prayers.

Help Those in Need with July Food Drive. Hunger doesn’t take a break during the
summer, so please consider donating a bag of groceries to make a difference to a family in
financial crisis. Support Buckhead Christian Ministry’s Food Bank by purchasing food for
our July food drive. Pick up lists are in the Welcome Center. Place your donations in the
bin at the Welcome Center, or make a financial donation by check payable to SPdL or BCM
with “BCM food drive” in the memo line.
