Conditions
1 All entrants must be members of an ASA affiliated club.
2 Age as at 31st December in the year of competition.
3 All entries will be accepted on a ‘first come – first served’ basis, based on day of receipt.
4 Results will be split into the following age groups 18-24, 25-29 and then 5 year age groups as necessary with
the final group being 60yrs+.
5 All events will be Heat declared Winners.
6 Awards will be made to the fastest 3 swimmers in each event after the swimmers times have been adjusted
using the Masters Age adjustment formula. The formula current at the time of competition will be used. No
awards will be issued for relay teams.
7 Heats for each event will cover all age groups and competitors. Events will be seeded slowest to fastest,
based on entry time submitted. Each heat will be spearheaded. The Promoter reserves the right to modify the
seeding arrangements should conditions demand.
8 The competition will be held under the ‘One start Rule’. ‘Over the top’ starts will be used wherever possible.
9 There will be no re-entry cards. Swimmers are asked to notify the organisers if they wish to withdraw from
an event not later than 45 minutes before the scheduled start of that session.
10 The pool is a 25m 6 lane pool with anti-turbulence lane ropes with Colorado electronic timing.
11 Entry fees will be £5.00 per individual event or £15.00 for any number of individual events. Relay teams are
£5.00. Cheques should be made payable to Billingham Amateur Swimming Club (B.A.S.C.)
12 Poolside entries will be at the discretion of the promoter.
13 Entries to be made on the enclosed form (please feel free to photocopy). An electronic entry file

14 CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS FRIDAY 6 MARCH 2015.
15 Accepted entries will be posted on the website www.billinghamasc.co.uk shortly after the closing date.
16 Anything not covered by the above conditions will be at the discretion of the Promoters – Billingham
Amateur Swimming Club. The promoter’s decision is final.
