I think it was difficult to get to grips with
this concept. I must admit they have made
some efforts to unveil yet another dimension.
However, I felt rather uneasy with gusts of air
and fog all around me. When seats started to
rock back and forth I was really scared. So I will
try to avoid it in the future.
It was an immersive experience. All effects were
synchronized with the film’s action. Even strobe
lighting inside the auditorium. Although I was
left damp I felt to be embodied in the story itself.
This cutting edge technology has impressed me
and I am determined to repeat the sensation.

Such multiplex cinemas can add some thrill to
watching a movie. They are usually equipped
with all sorts of machinery to either startle or
even scare a viewer. Screens are oval and
huge, seats movable in all directions. The size
is often enormous and one feels as if taken into
the scenery. On the whole I vote for it!
All these scents, water sprays and noises
were too much for an average person. I had
a miserable feeling of motion sickness as if
travelling in a vessel overseas. Maybe it takes
time to get used to such a presentation but I
do prefer cosy atmosphere with dimmed lights,
relaxing music and an interesting and
gripping film.

Flashing images, shaking seats and super loud
sound usually make me feel dizzy. They are not
my pair of shoes. Contrary to that an art cinema
would be much more to my taste. However, the
seats must be comfortable. You know - the
lovers’ ones!

Many countries have already launched 4Ds. It
could be intriguing to visit one but just to satisfy
my curiosity. To my mind younger viewers would
adore such entertainment, so I might be called
a classic type of a cinema goer. Whenever it is
possible I watch my favourite film seated in my
armchair with my family.
