Three PTSO $1000 Scholarships! Graduating seniors who plan to attend either a two year Community/Technical College or a four-year College/University are invited to complete the application for one of three (3) $1000 PTSO Scholarships! In order to be eligible, students must have a weighted GPA of 3.0 and have been a member of the NWHS PTSO as of December 31, 2014. Other criteria will include participation in extra-curricular and community activities. Students will be asked to submit a 500 word essay on how the values of the PTSO (service and volunteerism relate to them and submit two completed reference forms). Winners will be chosen by a panel comprised of NWHS faculty members only. Application is attached and is available online at NWHS Counseling website. Applications are due April 24, 2015 to Mrs. Garner in guidance. The winners will be announced on Senior Awards Day in May 2015. Good Luck to all! (Completed by two people that have known you for more than one year in a volunteer capacity.
