Our ref: POWC/KAV1 Date: 26 May 2015 From: Organising Secretary, Public Officers' Welfare Council To: Supervising Officers i/c Ministries/Departments Yoga and Zumba Courses The Public Officers' Welfare Council is proposing to organise keep-fit activities for public officers as follows: (i) (ii) Yoga; and Zumba 2. Both courses will be held on Saturdays at the Civil Service House, Gymkhana, Vacoas (site plan enclosed). The courses which are due to start as from Saturday 04 July 2015 are scheduled as shown below: Activities Groups Yoga Sat – 0900hrs to 1000hrs One hour Session per week Dress Code: T-Shirt + Legging/Tracksuit Zumba Group A Group B Sat – 1345hrs to 1445hrs Sat – 1450hrs to 1550hrs One hour Session per Group C week per Sat – 1600hrs to 1700hrs group Dress Code: T-Shirt + Legging/Tracksuit + Flat Shoes (To bring towel and water) Fees per participant Rs 550 per group Rs 850 per group 3. The fees mentioned above represent amount payable for the 20-week courses which will be conducted by qualified Instructors. Each group will comprise 20-22 persons. 4. The yoga course will be conducted by Professor S. David. Samuel, yoga therapist, instructor and performer from India. The yoga programme highlights are enclosed. P.T.O 5. Public officers who are interested to follow the keep-fit activities are requested to fill in the enclosed participation form, and submit same to the Organising Secretary, Public Officers' Welfare Council, 6th Floor, ATOM House, 16, Royal Street, Port Louis, during weekdays from 0930hrs to 1530hrs together with: (i) (ii) the exact amount, and a photocopy of recent payslip. 6. Please note that enlistment for the keep-fit activities will be made on a first come first served basis. 7. Kindly note that session(s) may be postponed in case of bad weather condition or any other reason which may cause disturbance of the course. Therefore, participants’ mobile number is important, so that they may be easily contacted after working hours including Saturdays. 8.
