Alps, this fiery foursome heats up our stage every night in July with

For the second year in a row
Hofbräuhaus Chicago’s own
Chef Klaus was showcased
at the New Horizon Festival of
Chefs. This historic event goes
back 15 years and benefits the
New Horizon Center’s efforts to
serve children and adults ages
3-22 with severe and profound
developmental disabilities and
autism. This year was held at
the beautiful Victoria in the
Park in Mount Prospect and
featured 20 chefs representing
some of the most unique
restaurants in the Chicagoland
area. Chef Klaus and his mix of
authentic German cuisine from
our Haus was an instant crowd
favorite. We were proud to be
part of such an amazing event
and look forward to continuing
the support of the New Horizon

PILSNER PLEASES
IN JULY
To commemorate a month
marked by freedom and
celebration, we are brewing the
most popular beer in the world
– Pilsner. First brewed in 1842
by Bavarian Brewmaster Josef
Groll at the Burgher Brewery
in Pilsen, Bohemia, its golden
color made history as the world’s
first pale ale. This revolutionary
brew was also made with only
the most refined hops available,
giving it a distinct flavor that beer
lovers would crave for centuries

it back to the time before
Pilsner to bring you the perfect
summer brew. The prefix “ur”
in German means original, and
that’s exactly what Urbräu is.
With a ruddy hue and full malt
body, this Bavarian lager’s

Urbräu is slightly sweet from
the malt, and finishes strong
with a crisp spiciness thanks to
