The profile P100, one profile of the
CRYSTAL range, enables you to create
medium and big format frames.
Simple face as well as double face, this
profile P100 fulfils your requirements
with the reliable simplicity of the
Crystal tensioning system.
Especially suited for the
construction of frames directly fixed
onto the wall or for freestanding
structures.

For the fitting of frames
supporting significant stress,
we recommend to use the two
following installations
instructions.
Only in specific cases –for
freestanding frames and big
format frames- stiffeners may be
necessary. In that case the profile
P100 is used as stiffener and a corner
reinforcement EQ S100 with four Tnut plates VIS S100 is fixed to every
end.

P100 enables you to build different two- or three-dimensional
frames and to combine them with each other.
The above mentioned information are added to the basic
construction instructions described on page 5 to offer more
possibilities.
The only limit is your fantasy.

Finishing
Assembly plan
The system P100 offers you various possibilities
to fasten the clamping bar. It allows you to
realise unique objects, as for instance the
construction of partitions (thanks to frames).
Example of a covered partition with
insulating foam core.
FRONT TENSIONING
This is the classic
fastening. For this
the clamping bars
have to be cut at
an angle of 45°.
This method offers
a «framed» optical
effect.
SIDE TENSIONING
This kind of fixing
the clamping bar
onto the surrounding
exterior frame
offers an even
more interesting
presentation. The bar
is only hardly visible
from the front view.
DOUBLE-SIDED
In case of a doublesided frame with
side tensioning, it
is possible to cover
the aluminium
profile completely
with fabric with
the double profilechannels of P100.

Instructions
1
The fastening and tensioning of
the fabric form the conclusion
of the CRYSTAL system. Please
exactly follow the installation
instructions and only use the tools
recommended by ISERMATIC.
CUSTOMIZING OF THE FABRIC
The fabric needs to be approximately
10cm wider than the frame on each
side.

ALIGNING THE
FABRIC
Place the
short clamping bar
pieces on the upper
side for positioning
and pretensioning.
Repeat
this step
at the lower side and at
the sides, gently pulling
the fabric.
TENSIONING THE
FABRIC
Fasten and stretch
the fabric with the
clamping bar. Kindly
note the position of
the profile sections.

Attention : To stretch the fabric,
always use a non rebound
plastic-head hammer.
CLAMPING
PROFILE SECTIONS
The profile-sections are
remnant pieces with a
length of approximately
10 to 30cm.

CUTTING OFF THE FABRIC
Clamp the fabric
by first of all
shoving the bar
from the exterior
edge to the inside.
Once the fabric is stretched, the protrusion
of the fabric needs to be cut off- (depending
on the kind of finishing
chosen).
Hit the clamping
bar with the headplastic hammer into
the profile channel.
Doing this you
stretch the fabric.
