Dive Children’s Worship Program–
Ages Pre-K through 5th grade. This
month’s theme is High Gear–Better
Together, we will be learning about
cooperation and service. Cooperation,
working together to do more than you
can do alone. Ever tried to live your
normal life with a jammed finger? Or
walk on a broken toe? It’s almost impossible for the body to
function effectively without every individual part contributing in
it’s own way! This is a great picture of how the church works!
Everyone has a gift. Everyone has a role. And everyone is
important!
All children ages Pre-K– 5th grade are invited to a dynamic
program geared up just for them. They will play games, make
crafts, sing, engage in a Bible story and so much more.
Please register children in the kitchen area. See you there!
There will be a
Congregational Meeting,
on February 28, for
members following the
service. Our current
Board consist of: EldersTom Pullen and Brad
Powell; Deacons– Richard Ford, Monte Johnson, Jacob
Rugg, Jay Rugg and Ike Whitaker; Trustees– Don Arndt,
Brad Powell, Richard Ford. Those whose 3 year terms are
expiring are Elder– Tom Pullen, Deacon– Richard Ford and
Jacob Rugg and Trustee– Don Arndt. Recommendations to
the Nominating Committee forms are in the Church Library,
please complete and return form(s) by February 7, 2016, to
the Church Office, an Elder, a Deacon or a member of
the Nominating Committee: Matthew Harris, Brad Powell,
Monty Johnson, Bufe Petty, and Tisha Costigan. *The
following Sunday will be set as a snow day if necessary.
If you would like to receive an Annual Giving Statement from
the church for 2015, you can signup in the library. You can also
contact the office by leave a
message or send an email to
[email protected].
Riley Valis, is going on a mission trip,
June 28-July 12, 2016, to Araguaina,
Brazil, with the CIY organization. This is
her chance to do what she loves, which
is working with children through
teaching, serving at VBS and much
more. Riley is asking for her church
family’s support, her first request is for prayer, she knows this
is a praying church. Her second request is for financial
support, her total cost is $3000, this covers her passport,
food, insurance, and transportation. She has already paid
$700, she has a box setup out in the foyer, or you can mail
contributions to 104 N Kentucky Adrian, MO.
ACC is transitioning from our email and
paper newsletter and informing you
through the weekly bulletins and our
website, adriancc.org. There you can find
volunteer schedules, announcements,
what we believe, hear sermons from
Preacher Matt and much more! We will send out emails for
any important information, if needed, rather than a full
newsletter in the future. If you have any question please
contact the office, we will be happy to answer any questions.
Men’s Breakfast is the third Saturday of each month. Cooking
starts at 7 am and breakfast is served at 8 am! This is a great
time to invited friends and neighbors for breakfast. Everyone
is blessed with full bellies, fellowship and a devotion. The
menu normally consist of eggs,
sausage, biscuits
and hash browns. A suggested $5
donation for breakfast will go to the
Deacon Benevolence Fund.
Feb. 20
RUSH 701-In January, we had Bufe Petty as a Guest
Speaker, he did a great job relating to the youth and
giving his testimony. Thank you Bufe! We started our
discussion on Identity-covering our image, choices, and
accomplishments. In February, we are going to start
talking about The Easter Experience.
What’s Happening:
Feb 10: Mazzio’s Pizza Night
ON THE HORIZON: CIY-MOVE, JULY 25-30
THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the food last
month and donated items and extra snacks, it is so
appreciated!
