Pastor Clark said during his message to the men, “The place where God is taking our church is going to require the strength of men.” After listening to their leader, the level of testosterone rose in the sanctuary. Like soldiers hearing a challenging call from their general right before they charge a hill, the men at the gathering where locked with enthusiasm and loaded with courage as Pastor Clark continued by communicating Five Great Challenges: worship. Do your part to make his praise glorious. 2. Connect Now: Get in a COG this semester. 3. Serve Now: Make Greater, greater using your gifts. 4. Give Now: Give more than ever this year. 5. Let me lead you now: Referring to what Paul said to the Corinthian Church, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1) The first Men’s Gathering had an awesome start and will only get better. The next gathering is this Saturday, Feb. 22 at 9 a.m. Pastor Clark will be sharing what men must do to grab hold of God’s best.
