Call for Papers
The 2015 Malaysian Finance Association Annual Conference (MFAC 2015) is now open for
paper submission. This 17th Annual Conference is themed “Financial inclusion as a means
to minimize fragility”. It will be hosted by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sabah. The
MFA Annual Conference has been taking place since 1999. It is gathering of Finance
Academics and Industry Practitioners. The objective of the conference is to provide
academics and practitioners with a platform to exchange ideas and research findings. Over
the last few years the Conference has attracted a substantial number of foreign participants. The conference have the opportunity to be considered for a Special Issue of the
PACIFIC-BASIN FINANCE Journal.

Best Paper Awards
Every submitted paper will be review by referees who are required to give a score for the
paper. The top ten papers based on these scores will be shortlisted for one of THREE MFA
Best Paper Awards. In addition to a Certificate, recipients also receive a RM 1,000 Cash
Award. The Award winning papers will be published in the MFA’s Journal, the Capital
Markets Review.
