The Dairy and Export market for alfalfa continues to be weak, so- EVR will keep it’s alfalfa on SALE. Grass hays and grass/ alfalfa blends are in short supply/high demand which keeps prices strong-But we have our barns full up north. No worries. Remember, the best way to keep your animal warm is provide low protein high fiber hay free choice all night long. Also, make sure to provide salt to promote water intake as animals tend to drink less in winter. - EVR Spe r cia ou l ut Greg ‘Tis the Season to be Grateful aO s! 2015 was another great year for Echo Valley! We always start out easy with the Gold Country Fair Heritage Foundation Crab Feed, some meetings and seminars in January. February is similar with the Placer County Farm Bureau dinner and more meetings. March starts the fun with us entering the CeTack Room Items lebrity Chefs event at the fairgrounds. Our 2nd Annual Ag Day for kids 10% OFF was a huge success. Tahoe Cattlemens Annual Dinner was popular as always as was their annual Steer and Heifer Show. Chick Days at In Stock Dog Houses (With this Flyer) Echo Valley was a big hit too. April brings the Auburn Rodeo and 10% OFF rodeo week. We almost didn’t have a dinner to attend this month! We substituted that with a luncheon in Chico for the really nice Dura Forks in Assorted Colors award Connie received. The Common Threads North Award was quite an honor. May is Home Show month as well as the Annual SALE $14.99 Reg. $18.99 Envision Expo. June was kind of quiet with only Placer County Fair on the books for us and our customers. July was amazing beNutra Nuggets GF Beef 28Lb. cause it led us in to Tevis by having all the visiting riders come in SALE $29.99 Reg. $34.99 to our store. That was an event in itself as we interviewed people from all over the world and put their pictures and stories on faceSeasonal Items & Pajamas book. We made some great new friends and it was fascinating to On Sale follow them on their Tevis ride. August gave us the annual Tevis Cup All sale items are ride and festivities. When Tevis is over, we are happy to have a quiet while supplies last. month. September is busy with the Gold Country Fair and Junior Livestock Auction followed by the Fall Home Show 2 weeks later.October has the Placer County Farm Bureau Hoe Down as well as Halloween! We always dress up for that! Besides Thanksgiving, November is “get ready for Girl’s Night Out” month. December is Christmas month but should be renamed Girl’s Night Out month.
