FiraTàrrega is comming to life again to show the current
pulse of the performing arts. An event that, coinciding with
the change of artistic director, has added new objectives
that emphasise the promotion, review and stimulation of the
street arts, with the desire to be a reference point for stage
creators in our country.
Over recent months, we have hosted artistic residences,
Creation Laboratories, adventures in trans-national productions, open rehearsals, courses and talks. All these activities
have been held under the same umbrella, the “Support for
Creation” programme, thanks to which we have been privileged spectators to a series of previously unseen creation
processes. We have nurtured new experiences budding;
buds that have turned into flowers and then into fruit: a fruit
that we can now taste.

FiraTàrrega devient, une fois de plus, réalité avec l’objectif de montrer le pouls actuel des arts scéniques. Un évènement qui, coïncidant avec la relève de la direction
artistique, a ajouté de nouveaux objectifs mettant l’accent sur la promotion, l‘étude
et l’encouragement des arts de la rue avec la volonté d’être un point de référence
pour les créateurs scéniques de notre pays.
Au cours des derniers mois, nous avons accueilli des résidences créatives, des
laboratoires de création, des aventures de production transnationale, des répétitions ouvertes, des cours et des causeries. Toutes ces activités ont été accueillies
sous un même parapluie, le programme de Soutien à la Création grâce auquel nous
sommes devenus les spectateurs privilégiés d’une série de procédés de création
inédits. Nous avons vu s’épanouir de nouveaux bourgeons d’expériences, bourgeons qui sont devenus fleur puis fruit, un fruit qui peut aujourd’hui être dégusté.
La grande célébration des arts scéniques est sur le point de commencer. Une sélection du meilleur théâtre national et international qui donnera lieu à un merveilleux
dialogue entre les créateurs, leurs multiples publics et une ville composées de
scènes qui encadre et donne sa dimension à cette expérience unique.

1) The programme follows the 24-hour clock. A spectacle after 12 midnight is
included in the following day’s list.
2) Access to the paying spectacles after they have started is prohibited.
3) When planning your menu of paying spectacles, leave at least 60 minutes
between the expected finishing time of one and the start of the next.
4) Tickets cannot be returned. Ensure that the tickets you are given at the box
office are the ones you have requested.
5) The Teatre Ateneu has seat numbers. The seats in the other venues are not
numbered.
6) People with handicaps or physical impediments have preference on entering
the venues. Ask at the door for this priority.
7) Disconnect al mobile phones and watch alarms during the performance.
8) Tickets acquired in Telentrada can be picked up from the cash points of
Catalunya Caixa.
9) Catalunya Caixa reserves the right to charge a commission for distributing
the tickets sold through Telentrada.
10) If a paying spectacle is suspended, as long as it has not exceeded 50% of
its running time, the tickets can only be refunded at the same sales point
where they were acquired.

CIRCUS
With the concept of entropy as the starting point, Los Galindos design
a drama that proposes art, as a cry for freedom, as an impulse that,
from chaos, makes a new order of things possible. A large-format street
circus show, custom designed to inaugurate FiraTàrrega 2011, with three
stages, 20 expert artists and live music. Acrobatics, trapeze, springboard,
tightrope walking, balancing, risk, play, technique, proximity, emotion,
poetry... all at the service of a thermodynamic proposal in which the
audience is arrayed along both sides of a catwalk over forty metres long,
creating a collective space of excitement, energy and shared involvement.
Avec le concept d’entropie comme point de départ, Los Galindos élaborent une dramaturgie qui s’interroge sur l’art en tant que revendication de la liberté comme un élan qui,
en partant du chaos, rend possible un nouvel ordre des choses. Un spectacle de cirque
de rue de grand format, conçu expressément pour inaugurer FiraTàrrega 2011, avec trois
scènes, 20 artistes de luxe et de la musique en direct. Acrobaties, trapèze, bascule, funambulisme, équilibre, risque, jeu, technique, proximité, émotion, poésie... au service d’une
proposition thermodynamique au cours de laquelle le public s’installera des deux côtés
d’une passerelle de plus de 40 mètres, créant ainsi un espace collectif de rêve, d’énergie
et de complicités partagées.

Directed by Blai Mateu, Soy la otra (la Diva) presents the
story of a girl who dreams about an eccentric life without
commitments as a diva in a cabaret. The search for her
missing father and the destructive dynamic associated
with the life she leads, provoke the decline and fall of the
diva. Alba Sarraute (Premi San Miguel Award at FiraTàrrega 2009 for Mirando a Yukali), accompanied by three
musicians, proposes a concert-spectacle that, as a tragicomic varieté, travels between poetry, clown, music and
acrobatics.

Mondial du Cirque de Demain 2011.

The Happiest
Trained in fine arts in Catalonia and settled in Finland, Anna
Estarriola seeks interaction between the visual and stage
arts with works that often reflect on human behaviour, perception and the subjective reality. The happiest is a contemporary spectacle that combines performance with dance.
Two characters describe an intermittent journey between
their inner world and the exterior, in a quest for a place to exist in. A piece that translates mental landscapes into physical
forms and creates three-dimensional images in movement.
Formée aux Beaux Arts en Catalogne et établie en Finlande, Anna Estarriola recherche l’interaction entre les arts visuels et les arts scéniques
avec des travaux qui réfléchissent souvent sur le comportement humain,
la perception et la réalité subjective. The happiest est un spectacle de
facture contemporaine qui combine la performance et la danse. Deux personnages décrivent un voyage intermittent entre leurs mondes intérieur
et extérieur, à la recherche d’un endroit où ils puissent exister. Une pièce
qui traduit des paysages mentaux sous des formes physiques et crée des
images tridimensionnelles en mouvement.

The clients in a bar in the Raval district of Barcelona in
the 1950s are closely following a football game with anticipation and containment. The owner, a symbol of the
grey conservative order of the dictatorship, is unaware
that the chance arrival of two American sailors will completely revolutionise their mentalities. Circus and theatre with live rock ’n roll music and ten actors and acrobats on stage, directed by Adrian Schvarzstein and Sergi
Estebanell.
Les clients d’un bar dans la banlieue de la Barcelone des années 50 suivent avec curiosité et retenue la retransmission d’un match de football. Le
propriétaire, symbole de l’ordre gris et conservateur de la dictature, ne se
doute pas que l’arrivée fortuite de deux marins américains va révolutionner complètement leurs mentalités. Un spectacle de cirque avec musique
rock’n’roll en direct, avec dix acteurs et acrobates sur scène, dirigés par
Adrian Schvarzstein et Sergi Estebanell.

The sirocco is an African wind that causes unexpected moods and
outbursts. Zirocco holds its spirit and Marcel Tomàs multiplies
himself to represent all the characters in a series of brief stories
with no apparent connection where humour is the main ingredient.

Frédéric Chopin and Maria Wodzinska that talks about misfortune in love. A story of falling in and out of love based on emotions and movement and conducted by the composer’s
melodies that combine happiness with melancholy and tremendismo.
Dirigée par Carlos Miró, cette compagnie propose une chorégraphie de rue dont le dialogue est ouvert avec les
éléments du mobilier urbain. Une pièce inspirée de la relation manquée entre Frédéric Chopin et Maria Wodzinska

The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant. Mixing the word with the
power of movement and referring to the circus world, the
spectacle talks about the darkest and most monstrous part
of the human condition. About how love saves or sinks us.

STREET THEATRE
The Cia. Fadunito has earned international weight and
prestige thanks to their street productions, with tours of
Ireland, France, Holland and Mexico, among others. Now
they present four surprising, entertaining and fragile
characters. They are older than 75, and have left the old
people’s home to walk around a bit. An itinerant spectacle
with interaction with the audience that puts the problems
of accessibility to public places and the feverish rhythm
of our society on the table. A way to discover the difficulties the elderly have to live with everyday.
La Cie. Fadunito a gagné du poids et du prestige international grâce à
ses productions de rue, avec des tournées à travers l’Irlande, la France,
la Hollande, le Mexique... Elle présente maintenant quatre personnages
surprenants, amusants, fragiles. Ils ont plus de 75 ans. Ils sont sortis d’un
centre gériatrique pour aller se promener un peu. Un spectacle itinérant et
d’interaction avec le public, qui traite les problèmes d’accessibilité des espaces publics et le rythme trépidant de notre société. Une proposition qui
permet de découvrir les difficultés avec lesquelles les personnes âgées
doivent vivre au quotidien.

most varied situations full of humour and intensity. A duo
of Vero Cendoya, dancer and choreographer, with Rubén
Cardoso, one of the most significant transvestism artists in
Barcelona in recent decades.
Spectacle de danse-théâtre qui allie la danse contemporaine à l’art du
transformisme et propose un dialogue ouvert entre les deux disciplines

Parata, Fase IV
WALKABOUT
A project by Vittorio Panza that came into being in Italy in 1985, seeking a synthesis between sound, rhythm and movement. Parata, Fase IV is an itinerant spectacle of percussion
and dance structured around a series of ritual movements where gestures and the rhythmic pace pursue a “global rhythm”. The show has been successfully performed at leading
European festivals and has won the Crystal du Spectacle award at the Festival Internacionale du MontGénevre for its originality.
Projet créé en Italie, en 1985 par Vittorio Panza, à la recherche d’une synthèse entre le son, le rythme et le mouvement. Parata, Fase IV est un spectacle itinérant de percussion et de danse structurelle fondé sur une série de
mouvements rituels où le geste et le pas rythmique poursuivent un « rythme global ». Il a parcouru avec succès les
principaux festivals européens et a reçu le prix Crystal du Festival du Mont Genèvre pour son originalité.

A company specialised in the format of the theatrical
concerts with dramaturgy and music from the first half of
the 20th century. In this case, Enchanté! is about the 2nd
World War, the Nazis and the resistance. A spectacle that
was never performed because it was bombed out while
the artists were rehearsing for it. A story in search of the
art and songs that helped to keep people’s hopes up. A
bare recreation, with airs of burlesque cabaret and decadent glamour.
Compagnie spécialisée dans le format de concerts théâtraux avec une
dramaturgie et une musique de la première moitié du XXe siècle. Dans
ce cas-ci, Enchanté! traite de la 2e Guerre Mondiale, des nazis et de la
résistance. Un spectacle dont la première n’a jamais eu lieu car il fut bombardé tandis que les artistes répétaient. Une histoire à la recherche de l’art
et des chansons qui aidèrent les gens à garder l’espoir. Une recréation
dépouillée avec des airs de cabaret burlesque et un glamour décadent.

El pianista d’aigua
Installation based around music. With his compositions
and an ingenious system of mechanical springs, a pianist
gives life to a large fountain where the water is propelled
through nozzles to a height of ten metres. A visual and
auditory proposal, of retro-futurist aesthetics, that also allows the spectators to take an active part.
Installation dont la musique est le fil conducteur. Avec ses compositions
et un ingénieux système de ressorts mécaniques, un pianiste donne naissance à une grande fontaine d’où l’eau est projetée à travers de jets d’eau à
10 mètres de hauteur. Une proposition visuelle et auditive d’une esthétique
rétrofuturiste, qui permet aussi aux spectateurs de participer activement.

Some rebellious musicians were expelled from an elite European music school and decided to create a street show
based on their lives in the centre, with humour, partying and
protest. A musical vanity of contagious choreographies, that
stands out for its heterogeneity, with an extensive repertoire
that ranges from swing to the paso doble, via funk, Balkan
music, reggae, rock or waltz, among other styles.
Des musiciens rebelles ont été exclus d’un conservatoire d’élite européen
et ont décidé de créer un spectacle de rue fondé sur leur vie au centre,
dans un esprit ludique, de fête et de contestation. Fanfare musicale de chorégraphie contagieuses que l’on remarque par son hétérogénéité et ayant
un répertoire étendu qui va du swing au paso doble en passant par le funk,

Enric Ases (Barcelona, 1960) has spent over
25 years as a professional in the performing
arts and participating in the consolidation of
the innovative proposals such as those by Zotal Teatre, Los Los or more recently Enfila’t.
You have had a long career in the Catalan performing arts with such projects as those with Zotal Teatre or Los Los and have collaborated with
La Fura dels Baus, Tricicle and Teatre de Guerrilla. What do think about the sector nowadays?
In a society becoming ever more virtualised, more
unreal, the performing arts have the incredible
power to put us into touch with the here and now.
Our task as creators is to continue polishing our
intentions, keep seeking the paths, the languages
able to shock and connect with the contemporary
spectator. While the performing arts continue to
provoke catharsis, they will continue to exist, will
still be necessary. I believe that, despite this great
We have a rich tradition of collective creative processes in Catalonia. This work method lets everyone who takes part express the most authentic, the
deepest of themselves. Over the years, collective
creation (in which everyone participates, everyone decides) has evolved towards a new concept:
creation in collective, in which everyone continues
taking part, but in which some functions and some
responsibilities are agreed a priori. This difference in the procedures helps enormously to make
the work agile, unblock conflict situations and lets
each one concentrate on their creative facet without giving up a clear involvement in the “what” and
the “how”. I believe that creation in collective, as a
natural evolution of the concept of collective creation, is the ideal method for working in a team and
for discovering new genres and stage languages.
This year, FiraTàrrega has begun a Support
for Creation programme that includes Creation Laboratories, artistic residences, training

I believe that the support for creation must help
the artists to concentrate on the exquisite task of
communicating correctly what they want to express. That means time and a place with the right

other hand, the artist has to be willing to learn to
look two ways: one way, inwards, to his/her soul,
and the other outwards, to the world. With the right
combination of these aspects, we will be able to
reach the spectators’ heart. All initiatives focussed
on this sense are incredibly valuable.
You shared the direction of Plecs with Manolo
Alcántara and Karl Stets. How did that experience go?
I believe that it has been a sort of alchemical work,
in which each of us has contributed their own elements, visions and concepts, which have merged
with total harmony to create a unique and original
imaginary. The full and passionate involvement of
all the creation and production team (Clara Matas,
Lídia Gilabert, Xavi Eliçagaray and Claudio Inferno) has made a fluid work possible in which everyone has left their creative imprint, their particularity. Moreover, Plecs is an example of the transnational reality of the circus: a Dane, an Argentine,
a Frenchman, a Catalan...
What will the audience in Tàrrega find in Plecs?
Plecs is a poetic and visual spectacle that aims to
reach the spectator through the senses and emotion. We have worked on the basis of a very simple
narrative structure and some characters who have
drawn from the personality of the artists’ own characters. We could talk about a spectacle of new circus that, in some way, turns the classical disciplines
upside down. The humour, live music and splendid
scenographic atmosphere created by Xavier Erra
(behind the original idea) make Plecs a spectacle
that reaches all kinds of audience and one that lingers on afterwards in the spectator’s memory.

NEW DRAMATURGIES
A project created by the Argentinean Fernando Rubio in 2001, whose roots lie
in the reformulation of the links between the actor, the work and the spectator through urban interventions, performances, videos, installations and texts.
Now they propose a quadrilateral with the floor covered in clothes where the
audience is put against the wall. A sign with the story of where it is from and
the owner’s name hangs from each piece of clothing, with the record of its origins. A live spectacle that threshes out various stories about the modern world,

Beyond Rosa Mª Sardà’s magnificent and unquestionable artistic career, in recent times,
the actress and Carme Cané have made up a
creative tandem that has brought to life such
interesting projects as Tres dramolette by
Thomas Bernhard, presented at the CAER in
Reus in 2007.

ve affinities, like reading, the cinema, researching,
being thorough, cooking ratatouille... We have also
shared the Goya awards ceremony, which is possibly the most difficult we have done, as it is a real
challenge to organise an award ceremony where
the majority leave as losers and turn it into a party. We met again in Wit. And in Tres Dramolette by
Thomas Bernard we did a show where we made
it clear that the Sardà-Cané tandem was interesting. Now we are working on Sagarra dit per Rosa
Mª Sardà, which, although it has nothing to do with
Tres Dramolette, is similar. We are practical women
and our forum is up on the stage. We flee from modernity and stridencies, because what really interests us is the future and simplicity.
Your staging is a vindication of the validity of
Josep M. Sagarra…
RMS and CC Àlex Rigola asked us to do this work
to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Josep Mª
de Sagarra’s death. With him we had very good times while selecting the texts. We have discovered
some aspects that make us feel very close to him.
And as far as championing him is concerned, the
truth is that Sagarra vindicates himself, we have
simply wanted to accompany him.
How did this artistic partnership between the
two of you come about?
How do you go about staging a non theatrical
text?
RMS and CC We met while doing El Visitant by
Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt over 15 years ago and since then. We understood each other very fast and
easily as we see the theatre and how we like to do
it in a very similar way; we also share many electi-

It’s a story that someone wants to be told. A story
has to keep the spectators active and interested,
and they have to want to know what comes after
what they are seeing, because, if not, if you haven’t

got them hooked, the communication breaks down
and everything comes apart. The link between actor and spectator is the word. In our spectacles the
staging is always there to serve the word.
What do you expect from your visit to FiraTàrrega? How do you see FiraTàrrega in the map
of stage events?
CC For me, it’ll be like closing a circle. I worked
in the Fira for a long time. First I came with a
company, La Gàbia, from Vic, then as a technician
at the Fira. Later, during the four years that Joan
Anguera was artistic director, I worked as the
Fira’s technical director. Now I’m coming back
as a company bringing a show that I direct. Many
of the people in the organisation are friends of
mine and I know what happens inside and out. It’s
like playing at home for me. So, when Jordi Duran
came, and he said “Carme, you have to come with
Sardà to do that about Sagarra”, I couldn’t say no.
I’m happy to be able to accompany him in his first
year and I wish him a placid Fira (he knows what
I mean).
What will the audience in Tàrrega find in your
proposal?
RMS and CC Basically what its name says: Sagarra
told by Rosa Mª Sardà. A taste of Sagarra’s work:
theatre, poetry, articles... A spectacle without any
interest in mythification, done with sincerity and
simplicity.
CC Also, a fantastic performance by Sardà with the
collaboration of Rosa Vila and Mercè Pons.

In this piece, we attend the process of building a structure, made from trunks and ropes,
that rises towards the sky. A work that explores the relation between the human body, as
a dynamic element, and various static elements. A solitary performance, composed of
movements and gestures, that accepts the challenge of verticality and precision. A dialogue between simplicity and complexity that evokes a world full of poetic overlays, tensions and balances. An edifying experience that demands our silence and watchful look.

Some mobile sculptures move round the town thanks to
the participation of the audience. The eccentric wheels
provoke erratic movements, an imperfection that evokes a
clown’s slippery pranks. An itinerant spectacle for all ages,
similar to a happening, proposed by the artist Jordi Rocosa,
inventor of forms and creator of landscapes, who displays
his particular understanding of art in public places.

Baldufa give a new impulse to their career with this ambitious artistic project, with stage direction by Jorge Picó

tale by Oscar Wilde, that tells the story of a prince who
lived an easy life of luxury, far from what was happening
outside his castle.

While they made their first approach to the public space
with Finlàndia, now they propose a second choreographic
street project set in the universe and life of Pablo Picasso,
with an altarpiece of evocative images about the passion
of the genial painter. The spectacle is based on an earlier
work first performed in the Picasso Museum in Barcelona

Si avec son travail Finlàndia la compagnie fit une première approche sur

on the world of the sentiments. “Consecuencias” talks about betrayal, loneliness, reflection and hope, with a fresh extrovert look. “Futile” begins with the
image of a photograph by Will McBride (“Super-population”, 1969) to deal
with social inequalities and cultural differences.

A project started by the choreographer Sian Thomas with
the goal of finding a space in the street for American tap
dancing. In this small-format piece, two dancers delight
the audience with their dance technique, their costume
changes during the spectacle and the flamboyance of a

the immediate reality, to build a metaphor of the absurd.

In only a five-year career, Microcosmos have presented four musical spectacles that have
toured Spain, Italy and Canada. One day, the main character of Univers, Arcadi, a family
man with a dull life, decides to enter history and builds a rocket to conquer the universe
with. A 360-degree musical for all the family, with three stages, that talks to us about hopes
and the great adventures that we would all like to experience.
En seulement cinq ans de trajectoire, Microcosmos a fait la première de quatre spectacles musicaux qui ont été
en tournée en Espagne, en Italie et au Canada. Le protagoniste d’Univers, Arcadi, père de famille ayant une vie
plutôt grise, décide un beau jour de passer dans l’histoire et construit une fusée pour conquérir l’univers. Spectacle
musical à 360 degrés, pour toute la famille sur trois scènes et qui nous parle de l’espoir des grandes aventures que
nous aimerions tous vivre.

their long career. They arrive in Tàrrega with this street spectacle committed to today’s
social reality. A nocturnal, gestural and very visual work, with a large dose of poetry and a
message half way between social protest and reclaiming the individual against power. An
autopsy of the system and the concept of progress.

Previously known by the name Teatro Gestual de Chile,
this couple of crazy clowns base their work on the urban
intervention, with the aim of dismantling the established
order. A show full of games and mischief that becomes a
truly unbridled party, while also turning into a satirical
and caricaturesque mirror of the basest human defects
and a crude hyperbole of the reality of everyday life in
the labyrinths of the city.
Connue autrefois sous le nom de Teatro Gestual de Chile, ce couple de
clowns fous fonde son travail sur l’intervention urbaine dans l’objectif de
démonter l’ordre établi. Un spectacle plein de jeux et de polissonneries
qui se convertit en une véritable fête sans borne en même temps qu’il
devient un miroir satyrique et caricatural des plus bas instincts humains et
une hyperbole crue et réelle du quotidien dans les labyrinthes de la ville.

In a clearing in the wood, on the outskirts of Athens, four
workmen, Quince, Bottom, Flute and Snout rehearse a
spectacle to celebrate the wedding of the Duke of Athens
and Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazons. Parking Shakespeare is a project born in 2009 to take the English playwright’s works to the parks, squares and public spaces of
the country with the goal of bringing the theatre closer to
everyone for free with only the text and actors, without a
set or lighting.
Dans une clairière du bois, aux alentours d’Athènes, les artisans Bobine,
Lecoin, Flûte et Groin répètent un spectacle pour célébrer les noces du
Duc d’Athènes et d’Hypolite la belle amazone. Parking Shakespeare est un
projet né en 2009 afin de montrer les oeuvres du dramaturge anglais dans
les parcs, sur des places et dans les espaces publics de notre géographie
avec la volonté de rendre le théâtre plus familier à tout le monde de façon

A new proposal by Inés Boza which aims to dissect the
process of creating a spectacle. This piece combines
dance, theatre, video-projection and music. A work that
places the spectators in an unusual place of perception
and makes them feel for themselves the experiences that
accompany the artists on the path that leads to the creation of a show. A unique stage exercise that makes the
strength and fragility of human nature palpable, the mirror of the creative.
Nouvelle proposition d’Inés Boza dans laquelle elle présente la dissection du procédé de création d’un spectacle. Dans cette pièce, la danse,
le théâtre, la vidéo projection et la musique s’entremêlent. Un travail qui
situe les spectateurs dans un espace de perception insolite et lui fait sentir
les expériences qui accompagnent les artistes dans le parcours qui mène
à la création d’un spectacle. Un exercice scénique unique où la force et la

Some decades ago, the barber’s shop was the nerve centre of the village. This show of physical,
comic and musical theatre recreates that setting in which the barber sang, played, served drinks,
gave advice and also did up the beard and the hair. The scenario is a barber’s shop enlivened
by three would-be barbers and the audience is a large waiting room. With splashes of lotion, the
barbers-musicians proudly display their talent, sure that the client will leave clean and smooth, with
the body regenerated and the spirits raised.
Il y a quelques décennies, le salon de coiffure était le centre névralgique des villages. Ce spectacle de théâtre physique, comique et
musical recrée cette ambiance où le coiffeur chantait, touchait, servait à boire, conseillait et arrangeait aussi la barbe et les cheveux.
La scène est un salon de coiffure animé par trois aspirants à coiffeur et l’assistance est une grande salle d’attente. À coup de lotion,
les coiffeurs-musiciens prouvent avec orgueil leur talent, sûrs que le client partira propre et lisse, le corps rénové et l’esprit remonté.

A young dance-theatre company from the Low Countries that surprises with this new work,
a street piece for three dancers, a musician and various elements. A story that features
three women, each in her own world, a heap of suitcases and a bench with a musician who
captivates the audience with his stories and notes. The motivation that eggs the women on
is to explore the contents of these suitcases; this is what puts them into movement.
Jeune compagnie de danse-théâtre provenant des Pays-Bas, qui surprend avec ce nouveau travail, une pièce de
rue pour trois danseurs, un musicien et divers éléments. Une histoire représentée par trois femmes, chacune d’elle
immergée dans son monde intérieur, une pile de valises et un banc avec un musicien qui captive l’assistance avec
ses histoires et ses notes. Les femmes n’ont qu’une envie, celle d’explorer le contenu de ces valises ; voilà le ressort
qui les met en mouvement.

at his own funeral. What’s more, these began to whistle
and insult him. Since then, he has had an obsession: to
prepare his own parting ceremony to see in person if he
is really esteemed. The actor owns up to us to confess
his desires and dreams, the good and the bad that his
life has had, and poses the existential questions that are
always repeated...
Un jour Santi Ibàñez fit un cauchemar: quatre pelés et un tondu assistaient
à son propre enterrement et, de plus, se mettaient à siffler et à l’insulter.
Depuis lors il a une obsession: préparer son discours d’adieu afin de vérifier, de son vivant, s’il est réellement aimé. L’acteur se confiera à nous pour
confesser ses espoirs et ses rêves, ce qu’il a vécu de bon et de mauvais
au cours de sa vie et les questions existentielles qui se répètent toujours,
seront posées.
