The Festival
All Roads Lead To Goa is an independent college and youth festival where college students and youth
from all over India participate. The festival was launched exclusively for all the college student in India to
celebrate college life in Goa. Due to its popularity, this year we are inviting more colleges to participate
in this college Festival where Fashion Show contest, Dance show contest, Battle of Bands, Photography
contest and film making competition will take place. At the last day of the event DJ Night and party is
organized where all college students are allowed for the party. This time we are inviting your college for
the College Festival as the entries for this festival are limited. So this time don’t forget to register your
college in any of the listed event. Your college is invited to participate in this college festival. The Festival
will take place from 11th January 2017 – 15th January 2017. Top Participating cities are: Delhi, Mumbai,
Chandigarh, Bangalore, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata and many more.

Rules, Regulations, and Scoring Criteria
1. Bands must submit a CD or MP3 to I TOUR BEAT office before the competition or at the time
of registration.
2. Demo music must be submitted to I TOUR BEAT office in MP3 or CD or pen drive (preferred
method) form and
• Demo tapes must include both covered and original tracks.
• If demo also includes cover songs, please denote ahead of time which tracks are the originals.
3. "All Roads Lead To Goa” finalists (6-8) bands must play 4 songs, two of which must be original
material. Each band’s set must fill approximately 15 minutes but must not exceed 18 minutes.
• For every minute exceeding the 18 minute limit, the band will be penalized 5 points from their
total score.
• If after your band has agreed to play their set modeled after the criteria explained above and
fail to provide the required amount of original material listed, this infraction will result in
immediate disqualification.
4. All competing bands are strongly encouraged to partake in ticket sales for the advantage of
crowd applause, which will be one of the criteria for which judging is based.
5. There is no limit to the number of bands who wish to apply for the competition and all
submitted. Demos will be posted online to attract crowds.
6. Any distasteful behavior, and or damage to The All Roads Lead To Goa Arena will result in an
automatic disqualification at the hands of management and judges.
7. Registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdraw from the
competition.
8. Each competing band receives three complementary tickets in order to gain awareness and
build their fan-base for the show. All other tickets will be full price for the rate of INR 1000
General admission and INR 2000 VIP (limited seats).

9. Judging is done on a 1 -10 scale by 3 qualified judges. The 4 criteria on which the bands will
be judged are explained below. The final criteria, however, will be crowd reaction. How loud
can you make our arena? BRING YOUR FANS!!!
10. A "Performer" consists of many different things. For these events, we require both
Instrumental and vocal performance; a band of 8 or a solo act, both are allowed as long as they
sing and play at least one instrument.
11. I TOUR BEAT will not be held accountable for any broken equipment, injuries, or any other
negative occurrences outside of our staff’s control.
12. The winner of "All Roads Lead To Goa” will be asked to play an encore after the final
judgments for approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Please have a second set prepared in the event
of VICTORY! (“Covered and original track” rules do not apply in the encore; material can be
chosen at band’s discretion).
Judging Scale and Criteria:
A panel of highly qualified, competent judges will judge all performances. All contestants agree that
the method of judging shall be solely within the discretion of the directors of ITOUR BEAT and that
all decisions of the judges are final. Contestants will be adjudicated against a point system. In this
way, the contestants receive a more accurate evaluation of their performance. With this scoring
system, multiple Platinum, Gold and Silver awards will be presented for competition.
1. Music (This criteria is based on clarity, lyrical content and overall musical performance) 1-10
2. Stage Presence and Crowd Interaction (This Criteria is based on how well the band "rocks
out" and how well the band connects with the crowd) 1-5
3. Appearance and Personality (This criterion is based on the overall look and personality. If you
want to be a rock star, you need to look the part!)1-5
4. Original Material (This criterion judges the most important part of your act, your original
material! Band want to show originality in both their lyrical and instrumental performance to
impress the judges) 1-10
5. Crowd Applause (The key ingredient to rock stardom: THE FANS!)1-20

Platinum Award Trophy will awarded to 1st place, Gold to 2nd Place and Silver to the 3rd Place in the
All Roads Lead To Goa’s Dance competition. A “Top Score “pin will be awarded to each team from
the Top 10 highest scoring entries within all “Selective and open entries” in every category.
