same in our lives. Many

Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain killed himself at the height of his
career. In his suicide note he wrote: I haven‘t felt the excitement of listening to as well as creating music along with
reading and writing for too many years now.
The fact is, I can’t fool you… The worst crime I can
think of would be to rip people off by… pretending as if I‘m having 100% fun. I can‘t stand the
thought of Frances becoming the miserable,
self-destructive, death rocker that I’ve become.
I don’t have the passion anymore, and so remember, it‘s better to burn out than to fade away.
The list of people giving up on life because they
find it meaningless seems to be endless. Wouldn’t it
be terrible if your name was added to that list as well?
Have you ever asked yourself these
questions?
Some people say they do not care what
they are living for. But wouldn’t it be
strange to be sitting in a train without
knowing where you are going? How
much more important it is to know
where your life is taking you!
Fascinating answers to life’s biggest
questions are awaiting you. Your life is
about so much more! But to discover
all that you have to be willing to step
outside the box.
Let me make it a little clearer. Take
a look at this problem and try to
solve it. Connect the nine dots with
no more that four lines without
lifting the pen.

spot in our lives – stuck in
a small, little box?
If you want to begin to truly live life,
that is, a life that will get you all excited
about it, you will have to break free
from these constrictions.

Dimension
You have been created for another
dimension. The only one who can
break you out of your little box is God.
That’s because nothing but a real
relationship with Him will lead us into
true freedom and liberty. God created
you to have a living relationship with
Him. This is where you will find everlasting life and true excitement.
Faith in God is having a great comeback in our days. Suddenly a topic we
nearly buried a short while ago is all
the craze again. Many young people
experience for themselves that God
truly is real in an authentic way. They
even go so far as to say that they have
a personal relationship with Him.
The message of Faith, Love, and Hope
captivates more and more people all
over the world, including celebrities like
Brian ‘Head’ Welch (ex-Korn), or ex-porn
queen Crissy Moran.
Head
Brian Welch had everything a young man might
wish for. Virtually from
nowhere he became a
rock star, sold over 40
million CDs with his band
Korn and was the headline act at Woodstock 2
playing in front of 200,000
people. Still, until God
moved in his life, Brian
kept sinking deeper and
deeper into a life of alcohol and drug addiction.
Nothing you chase after on this earth will
satisfy you like a real, everyday, intimate relationship with Christ. Nothing!

Christian Hosoi had his
first cover picture in a skateboard magazine at age 10.
He soon became a highly
successful professional skater,
including 1st place in the Titus World Cup. He also came in
contact with drugs. At age 16 he did cocaine and drank
alcohol daily. In 2000 he got arrested for drug trafficking.
While imprisoned he found God. His life completely changed.
Crissy Moran, an ex-porn actress,
announced that she had finally
found the love of her life: Jesus
Christ! Coming from a broken
home, Crissy Moran was a famous
porn actress for 6 years.
When she got to know Jesus little
more than 2 years ago, her life
changed significantly. She is now
helping other women to leave
the porn business.
The Surprise
Don’t you find that surprising? But then, God is really
good at surprises. He created a gigantic universe with
a small planet in it on which he placed us - and now
we’re here, living our lives. He knows you personally,
and He has a great plan for your life!
God’s great surprises!
2,000 years ago, Jesus came into our world. He surprised
us as no other man has ever done. Be it His birth, His life,
His death, or His comeback, everything about Him was
so completely different from all other men. Let’s have a
look at His life.
He arrived without a red carpet
Just imagine the U.S. President was planning a trip to
Germany. Of course, he would book a really cheap flight
in economy class, be picked up in a run-down little car,
and stay at the local youth hostel.
Now we might plan a trip like that, but not the President of
the United States. His trip is carefully planned in advance.
He flies in his own plane, is picked up by a limo, and stays
at the most expensive hotel in town.
What would it look like if God visited us? What would His
appearance be like?
Of course, it would be well prepared! Roll out the red
carpet; get the big black stretch limo; and book the best
hotel. The eyes of the world would be on His visit. CNN,
ABC, Fox News, Newsweek - name them, they would all
be there, set up and ready to report live from the event.
I mean, we are talking about the Creator of the universe!
But God did not come like that at all!
Jesus was born in a manger in a small, insignificant little
village called Bethlehem. Small little village, right there
in a manger, and we are talking about the most important person in the world! Jesus Christ, the Son of the
living God.
The Way
His life, His words, everything
full of power, totally unique!
His life was surprisingly different as well. He turned water
into wine, healed the blind, the deaf, and the lame, and
even raised the dead. But not only did He perform oneof-a-kind miracles, His love for the people was completely
unique, too. He loved the rejects, the outcasts of society
(outcast by the religious elite in particular) like lepers and
prostitutes.
His life and His teachings shine a bright light right into our
very day. The Sermon on the Mount is one of the greatest
speeches ever delivered. Jesus’ teachings form the foundation of our Western societies.
I am a Jew, but I am enthralled by
the luminous figure of the Nazarene.
No one can read the Gospels without
feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His
personality pulsates in every word. No
myth is filled with such life.

So what you’re left with is either
Christ was who He said He was
- the Messiah - or a complete
nutcase! The idea that the entire
course of civilization for over
half of the globe could have its
fate changed and turned upsidedown by a nutcase- for me,
that’s farfetched.

Many laws of this country go back to what Jesus
said. His teachings continue to fascinate people
all over the world.
Some think He was an especially gifted teacher.
But He Himself gave a very different answer to
the question of who He really is:
I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
No one can come to God without Me.
Jesus
At the Height of His Life He’s still different
Quite recently, there was this movie out, a rather creative
one, called Bruce Almighty. Bruce got to be God for a
few days. Just imagine you could be God for a day.
What would you do?
Would you engage with Amnesty International or Greenpeace? Would you eradicate all evil from the planet?
You’d have to eradicate yourself, too, because there’s
stuff in your life as well that is not ok.
Maybe you would just do the things
you have always dreamed about. You
. of a casting show
could be the winner
or win the lottery.
For God so loved the
world that He gave His
one and only Son, that
whoever believes in Him
shall not perish but have
eternal life.
What did Jesus do? He did
not try to get political
power; neither did He rally for demonstrations. Again,
He is so different from all the rest.
Jesus loves you with undying love. He gave His all
for you. The earth shook and for hours there was a
solar eclipse as Jesus died. The wall separating God
and men was once and for all torn down. God is a holy
God, and He cannot tolerate sin and guilt. That’s why
Jesus gave His life for you on the cross. He loves you!
He died for your sin, for your guilt, because they separate you from God.
His Comeback
We see how again and again famous
athletes, musicians, or stars try their
hand at a comeback. The Rolling
Stones have been doing so for years
now, and if they continue like this,
chances are we’ll one day even see
them come on stage with walkers
and someone to care for them.
Then there’s the boxer who tried to
step back into the game in his later
years, only to get whipped big time
and sink into oblivion soon after.
But the most exciting and fascinating comeback of all time has
already happened:
Very early on the first day of the
week, just after sunrise, they were
on their way to the tomb. As they
entered the tomb, they saw a
young man dressed in a white robe
sitting on the right side, and they were
alarmed. Don‘t be alarmed, he said.
You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene,
who was crucified. He has risen! He
is not here. See the place where they
laid Him.

What a fantastic comeback! On the
third day, God raised Jesus from the
dead, just like He had predicted it.
Jesus beat death once and for all!
If Jesus rose from the dead, and if
He now lives forever and thereby
proves to be the Son of God, there
is hope for a secure future in eternity
for you!
Prayer
God is still surprisingly at work today! You too can experience the reality of God. His plan for your life is the
greatest thing you could ever imagine or wish for. If
you want to make this powerful experience, please
pray the following prayer:
Jesus, I need You. I have been living my life without You; please forgive me! Thank You for dying on
the cross for my sin and my guilt. You cleared the
way to God so I could come. I give You my sin, my
guilt, my shame, and I receive You as my Savior.
From now on, please be the Lord of my life. Amen.
