cannot compare with Elken
Before Elken, I dabbled in 4 different businesses
ranging from corporate telecommunication,
computer, international telephone cards to
supplying beauty products for 10 years. In a
traditional business model, you don’t get to see
a multiplication factor in your profits. If you earn
RM50,000 a year, you earn RM150,000 in 3
years, which does not amount to much despite
working long hours. When I attended an Elken
motivational seminar in 2007, I leapt at the
chance to boost my income, hoping to reach a
5-figure salary in 3 years. I put in my effort and
was surprised to find myself achieving manager
level in 2 weeks. With my resolve made up,
I worked hard and dedicated myself into
reaching my goal.Thanks to the support
structure and conducive environment that Elken
created, I can realise my 5-figure salary and
reach DCM. I believe I can achieve more than a 5
figure income, grab all 9 incentives in 2011 and

Leavinghigh school anddreamingof riches, I went to Singapore to work as a
technician.After workingfor alongtime, my salary didnot increase; instead, I suffered

Form 5 Dropout Gets Tertiary Education Through Elken
B
eing the 2nd out of 10 siblings, the burden of supporting
the family fell to me and my elder sister when my parents
passed away. Hence, I stopped schooling during Form 5,
feeling self-conscious and talentless. I worked low-paying
jobs at a sundry shop and then a furniture shop to make ends
meet, and felt that it was enough for me to earn a living as a
salaried worker drawing RM400 monthly.
I was devastated when I discovered that my eldest son was prone
to lung infections, and had to be hospitalised for one to two
months whenever he fell ill.Through my sister, I was introduced to
the MRT supplements which I gave to my son hoping they would
strengthen his body. I was astonished as he regained his health
rapidly and did not have any relapse.
From Hopeless In Debt To High Flyer
I
surrendered my direct-selling business with a multi-level
marketing company after 4 years because my financial
situation did not improve and I was RM16000 in debt! It was
a coincidence when I met MCCMChu Hau Ling, who knew
me from my previous business. As I did not want to repeat my
past mistake, it took a lot of convincing before I decided to take my
chance with Elken.
Elken fascinated me because of the culture that Elken had
cultivated – a big family where everyone cared for one another.
Leaders are genuinely concerned for their downlines and do as
much as they can to provide assistance and emotional support.
Most importantly, we are taught the importance of praising each
other. Adequate praise at the right moment not only boosts our
self-confidence, but makes us strive to be better people.
I was a shy and timid person, but through the opportunities that
Elken gave me, I learned to speak in front of an audience and
talk about my experiences which were recorded and distributed
onVCD. What astonished me was that I later found that my first
recording became one of the most popular testimonial VCDs ever.
I then joined a motivational seminar to get to know Elken better,
and was struck by the business model and educational system.
With many members earning 5-figure incomes, I began to feel
that the world is wider than I previously thought and decided to
invest my time and energy into Elken. From a housewife educated
up to Form 5 only, I became an avid student of ‘Elken University.’
This is the university of life where not only do I get to improve
myself, I also learn how to make money, formulate marketing
plans and learn more about products. I am proud to say I have
gained my confidence, and achieved CCMthanks to Elken and the
support of my peers. I am now in better standing to support my
family and we have just moved into a RM400,000 Semi-D next to
my sister CCMWan Rohani.

Escaping the fate of a salaried man
I was an undergraduate at UTM10 years ago when it dawned on
me that the outcome of all my hard work was to make others richer.
Despite getting stellar results, I would be resigned to a life of being
a salaried engineer. I decided that that was not my aspiration, and I
began looking for other options. Who would have thought that a poor
engineering student on a scholarship could become an entrepreneur
earning a five-figure monthly income? This seemingly impossible wish
was granted when my seniors introduced me to Elken. Million thanks
to CCMLim HeeThiam and Chai Ling Ling.
Starting a business from zero
Manager in a month
Many wonder how a student, driving only a motorcycle could start
a business. I had no experience and being on a scholarship, I did
not have extra money to invest in tools and products that would give
me a jumpstart. But a right person at the right time gave me the
opportunity of a lifetime – my senior upline MCCMWan Joon Liang.
He cleared my doubts, and opened my mind to possibilities. Meaning
that, I can leverage on Elken educational system to overcome the
abilities I lacked.
By my first month, I became amanager, thanks to my trusty motorcycle.
When I achievedESM, I bought my first car. Within 10 months of
joiningElken, I earnedmy first five-figure income andachievedDCM.
Eventually, I earnedElken’s 9 bonuses anddrove abrandnewMercedes
Benz to my convocation. Hearingmy graduatingcoursemates worry
about jobopportunities upon graduation, I smiledinwardly, knowingI
wouldnever needto apply for ajobnor sendaresume. From3 years
of hardwork in Elken, I became an entrepreneur with anetwork of
thousands, earningafive-figure income. All thanks to my seniors, CCM
LimHee ThiamandChai LingLing.
Success is our ultimate goal. By tuning my mentality and perception,
I learnt from my uplines and the Elken System Education. No capital?
I started with small products. No transport? I travelled by motorcycle
or public transport. No confidence? My uplines gave me! I had a clear
goal and achieved it.
Escaping the comfort zone
When I started to enjoy my uncommon freedom in life after building
up a big network of thousands, I fell into a comfort zone and lost my
direction. While I was working for my CCM, I encountered a limitation
that I was not that good in selling products to others. I felt lost and
thought that it would be difficult to progress further. It was SAB MCCM
Lee Suet Sen and Ho Huey Chuin who brought me up from my slump,
and inspired me to look higher and to accomplish my mission to build
more leaders. In 2010, my wife and I worked with our network to help
our downlines to succeed.That year we became Elken’s 76th MCCM!
Education in Self-Confidence
Elken’s Public SpeakingTraining and Continuous SystemTraining
taught me to overcome low self-esteem and be comfortable with
myself.Today, I have no qualms giving a speech in front of thousands.
In fact, I apply the education system in my daily work. With sales
running into millions and a network of thousands, it is amazing.
