Saleen Automotive Unleashes the All-Electric, All-Performance Tesla Saleen FOURSIXTEEN

Saleen Automotive, Inc. debuted its highly anticipated all-electric Tesla Model S based vehicle "The FOURSIXTEEN" at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, August 17, 2014. The Saleen FOURSIXTEEN boasts an array of features that make the
vehicle faster, more stylish with an improved ride while maintaining Tesla Motor's remarkable mileage efficiency.
"We have used all the experience and ingenuity in our collective acumen to create a truly exceptional Tesla Model S in our new
FOURSIXTEEN," stated Steve Saleen, CEO, Saleen Automotive. "By dramatically improving the aerodynamics, suspension, braking,
and drive train we are able to create a car that accelerates quicker with vastly improved handling. It is truly exceptional."

MSRP for the FOURSIXTEEN model is set to start at $152,000 for the complete vehicle, which includes the base P85 Model S sedan.
This is priced before existing state and federal EV incentives which can range from $7,500 to $15,000 depending on the buyer’s state
(i.e. A California resident would pay $142,000.00).
Warranties are also included on all new Saleen vehicles, components, and labor. Each newly purchased Saleen FOURSIXTEEN will
include a 4-year / 50,000 mile warranty.
Purchases for this all new electric vehicle can be placed by contacting Saleen directly for an expedited ordering process of the Saleen
FOURSIXTEEN. Orders are now being taken for the FOURSIXTEEN with delivery 6-8 weeks following order confirmation and receipt.

Concorso Italiano was again a key part the traditional Monterey Automobile Week. The event was on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at
the Black Horse Golf Course in Monterey Bay, California. Concorso Italiano’s unique format featured more than 800 – 1000 vehicles
of Italian origin. Vehicles were on display and elements of Italian style such as fashion, food, music were all on the beautiful grounds
of the Black Horse Golf Club.

8th Annual Sturgis Mustang Rally:
Family Reunion

The Sturgis Mustang Rally was held on August 27-31, 2014 with
rally headquarters at the Thunder Dome in Sturgis, South
Dakota. The event has such a family atmosphere that long time
event staff member Dan Jacobsen referred to the event as a
"Family Reunion". One of the event sponsors was the local
Saleen dealer, Scott Peterson Motors Sturgis Ford which
formerly was Jacobsen Ford. Saleen Automotive was also a
sponsor. Over 800 Mustangs were registered for the event with
578 Mustangs registered for the Saturday Show & Shine.
Sturgis Mustang Rally featured events included the following:
Mustang Rodeo in which the Mustangs drove through the
course and both the driver and passenger had to lasso a few
horses and toss bean bags for points. Sponsor: Classic Design
Concepts. Prizes: trophies & $300, $200, and $100.
Cannon Bull Run to the Carbon Shooting Complex for a competition shoot, a drive to the Moonshine Gulch Saloon, and a
return drive through the beautiful and winding Spearfish Canyon. Prizes: $200, $100, and $100.
Launch Box Competition in which each participant started in the
launch box and raced to the stop box 60 feet away.
Sponsor: Shelby American. Prizes: $300, $200, and $100.
Burnout Competition to produce smoke for a minimum of 30
seconds and a maximum of 90 seconds.
Sponsor: LateModel Restoration. Prizes: $500, $300, and $200.
Black Hills Poker Run to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer
State Park, Hills City, Keystone, and Deadwood. Participants
collected stamps that were redeemed on Sunday to draw their
poker hand. Prizes: $200, $100, and $100.
Autocross Competition. Sponsor: Gateway Classic.
Prizes: Sweet 16, 1st – 16th, trophies and share $1800.
Mustang Barrel Racing and Drifting. Sponsor: Recarro.
Prizes: trophies and $300, $200, and $100.
Dyno Competition. Prizes: $50 King & $50 Queen, plus t-shirts.
Mustang Drag Racing.
Prizes: Sweet 16, 1st – 16th, trophies and share $1800.
Saturday Show and Shine Competition.

Steve Saleen had his usual autograph sessions on Saturday at
the Show and Shine and on Sunday at the Thunder Dome.
A highlight of the show was the Sunday Dice Roll for a special
edition Sturgis Mustang Rally Mustang. Once again this year the
Dice Roll Mustang was a Special SMR Black Label Saleen 302.
Saleen was the sponsor for the Dice Roll. To go with the theme

of the event, the Saleen had "Deadmans Hand" and a graphic of
a card hand with "Aces and Eights". The Saleen was a black
coupe with a Red Butterfly hood. Each registered participant had
the opportunity to roll 6 dice, each with only one letter on one
side to make the word "SALEEN". No one was able to roll
"SALEEN" so the car was auctioned on Sunday.
Steve Saleen was the guest speaker at the Sunday evening
banquet. He opened his talk with a statement that he was mad
that no one knew how to spell "SALEEN". Of course he was
referring to the unsuccessful "SALEEN" dice roll that was held
just before the banquet.
Steve Saleen gave a talk about his current projects. He has a
new distributor in China. His wife, Liz, and daughter, Molly, had
to miss the SMR to attend events in China. Steve had photos of
his Saleen S7 at the 2014 Beijing International Auto Show, the
new Saleen FOURSIXTEEN all electric Tesla S, and the rendering of the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang. On display by the stage
was an impressive collection of Saleens representing several
custom Saleen colors - Lizstick Red, Orange County Orange,
Tire Smoke White, and Beryllium. A ChromeMolly Saleen was
on display under the Saleen tent.
The Sturgis Mustang Rally has something for everyone. Mark
your calendars for September 2-6, 2015. At this time it is too
early to know Steve Saleen’s schedule for 2015, but Steve loves
this event and might return in 2015.

SALEEN and SOEC presented the Saleen Annual Car Show & Open House at
Saleen Headquarters, 2735 Wardlow Road, Corona, California.
Some of the mystery about the 2015 Saleen 302 has been solved. The renderings
of the full front and side of the new Saleen 302 were revealed at the event. (The
renderings are on the front cover) of this newsletter.) Typically a novelist will reveal the details of the story in various chapters. Steve Saleen is keeping fans in
suspense for yet another chapter, the rendering of the rear of the 2015 Saleen
302 Mustang. Update on back cover: 2015 Saleen S302 Mustang Debut, Los Angeles, California, Friday, February 20, 2015.
Ford has chosen to produce the 2.3 Liter EcoBoost Mustang to begin the 2015 model year. The EcoBoost engine will have 310 horsepower and 320 lb-ft. of torque with a Best-in-class 21 city/32 hwy/25 combined mpg.
The EcoBoost Mustang might be ok for many Mustang enthusiasts, but performance oriented
Saleen fans are waiting for the release of the 8 cylinder 302 Mustangs. The renderings of the
2015 Saleen 302 Mustang have satisfied a little of the curiosity of Saleen fans. Patience will be
necessary to get to the last chapter of the novel to be revealed on Friday, February 20, 2015.
The debut of the 2015 Saleen Mustang renderings was not the only featured product at the show.
Steve Saleen entered the display circle in the main parking lot in the Lipstick Red Saleen FOURSIXTEEN that was debuted at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, August
17, 2014. The Saleen Show was the first time that most Saleen fans had an opportunity to see
the amazing, all electric, Saleen version of the Tesla Model S. Steve described the features in
detail as everyone had a chance to photograph the car.

American Muscle Mustang Show: August 16, 2014

The 6th Annual American Muscle Show was held at the Maple Grove Raceway, Reading, Pennsylvania on
August 16, 2014. Over 2,600 Mustangs and 10,000 people were at the event.
$35,503.02 was raised for Special Olympics. Here are some of the highlights of the show:
Red Mustang registry brought 125+ Mustangs and raised $4,300 for the Special Olympics this year!
Chip Foose announced that he will be working with MMD to build the next MMD show car for SEMA 2014.
Vaughn Gittin, Jr. revealed his 2015 Mustang RTR for the very first time.
Show registration completely sold out - over 3,000 t-shirts and swag bags were handed out to registered Mustang owners!
It took 18 judges over 5 hours to judge more than 2,500 Mustangs.
There was a drift car competition.
Mustang owners came all the way from Canada & Hawaii!

Saleen Expands Electric Performance Vehicle Lineup

Saleen Automotive has begun deliveries of the Model S based Saleen FOURSIXTEEN, which comes only a short time after the successful new product launch in Pebble Beach, CA. This places Saleen Automotive, Inc. in an advantageous position in the rapidly
growing electric performance car segment as the Saleen Tesla (ST) hits the streets.
“Keeping with our core competencies, we’ve accomplished concept-to-production in a short time,” noted Steve Saleen, CEO of
Saleen Automotive. “Moving quickly in the automotive industry is paramount to maintaining (and gaining) marketshare, especially in
such an advanced segment as the electric car market.”
2015 ST Models on the Horizon
In addition to production on the current 2014 P85+ based sedan, Saleen is also taking orders on the 2015 model lineup. The updated
2015 drivetrain will present an additional opportunity for Saleen to increase cooling performance, aerodynamics, and acceleration on
the base 60 and 85, and P85D Model S chassis.
Advancements in the Model S base chassis drivetrain provide the 2015 ST models with additional ordering options: A single motor
380HP motor configuration and a dual motor 691HP motor configuration. As with the 2014 Saleen Tesla, both models will offer all
available driveline options and Saleen specific technology such as the motor cooling systems and driveline enhancements.
With a starting MSRP of $124,500 after federal tax credits, the newly updated vehicle and configurations on the 2015 all-electric
Saleen model will receive updated badging as well; The Saleen ST.
ST | 380
The 380HP base model will receive a myriad of additional upgrades including aerodynamics, aesthetics, braking, and Saleen specific
suspension components as standard equipment. New for this model year is the 2+2 Saleen performance seating which is now standard on all ST models. Optional equipment will continue and include the Saleen specific 11.39:1 final gear ratio and Saleen carbon
ceramic brakes.
ST | 691
This model is the ultimate in all-electric performance and provides a unique track capable throttle response, acceleration,
and torque management efficiency worthy of any world-class Supercar. When configured with the Saleen specific features
and optional drive ratios, the 691HP all-wheel drive dual motor configuration is expected to accelerate at a seat planting
0-60MPH in under 3 seconds.
