Guidelines
Select a firm pumpkin and ensure that the stem is firmly attached.
You may paint or draw or glue materials onto your pumpkin and/or dress it up as you please.
Use whatever materials are available to you to create a funky design.
Unfortunately we cannot accept any pumpkin that has been hollowed out or cut into.
The National Botanic Gardens reserves the right to compost any pumpkin that starts to
rot during the contest period.
The National Botanic Gardens is not liable for any damage to your pumpkin.
Bring your decorated pumpkin to the National Botanic Gardens, on Saturday 18th October 2013
between 10am and 5pm. Prizes will be awarded for the most imaginative entry in each age category.
Winners will be announced at a Prizegiving on Sunday 19th October 2013 at 3pm. Your pumpkin will be
part of our Haloween exhibition until 31st October.
Remember to bring with you: 1) Completed entry form 2) Completed and cut out label 3) Your
decorated pumpkin.
