As we come to yet another close in another year that our Lord has bountifully blessed us with, we at FMBC continue to thank Him and offer up daily praise to Him. The FMBC Family has come a long way this year and we owe it all to the Lord. We recognize that it is Him who has made it all possible. We are just His vessels waiting to do His will, as we continue to make a positive impact in the lives of others, as well as in our own lives. To God be the glory! Browse the newsletter to see the happenings at FMBC. To share in our experiences, please feel free to join us. OUR MISSION Our mission is to be a beacon of light in this dark world as we worship God through loving, evangelizing, serving and producing disciples. We therefore develop an intimate relationship with Him as we experience making a positive impact in our community and fostering a sense of belonging to the congregants within our nurturing church family. AS A BODY OF BAPTIZED BELIEVERS WE ARE COMMITTED TO: Bringing persons into a saving and redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ. Maturing the body of Christ by developing persons spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally and physically. Pure worship by bringing glory and honor to God. Yielding to God our stewardship of Time, Talent and Tithe that the Kingdom of God might be blessed. STEPS TOWARDS ACCOMPLISHMENT 1) Know the vision. 2) Operate in the vision. 3) Live the vision. Mitchell and the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Family of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in a joint Worship Experience at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jordan delivered a powerful message, which was the first in a series of messages entitled, “Next Dimension Mentality.” The Scripture text was taken from Daniel, Chapter 3 and Hebrews, Chapter 13. Pastor Jordan made several points as to “If you want to be next dimension material, there are some things we do that must change. It’s all about your attitude.” o (1) Have an attitude of association and assimilation. o The church uniformly must provide followship to the one God has anointed and appointed to leadership. o (2) Have an attitude of expectation from God. o You must expect God will do what he has promised to do. o (3) Have an attitude of jubilation. o You must praise Him before the visual manifestation come to pass. (Thanks Kingdom Citizens for traveling to Baton Rouge and for your continued support.) NOVEMBER 2008 Saturday, November 15th o The “Women of Faith” met at the home of Bro. Aaron and Sis.
