Greetings,
We welcome you to Faith Missionary Baptist Church’s
newsletter, “Faith Walkers’ News.” Here at FMBC,
we are Kingdom Citizens practicing the teachings of
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “We walk by faith,
not by sight” and we have Favor And Integrity
Through Him.
As we enter into another year that our Lord has
bountifully blessed us with, we at FMBC continue to
thank Him and offer up daily praise to Him.
The FMBC Family is excited about what the Lord has
in store for us – not only for us on a personal level,
but most importantly, on a spiritual level. As always,
we recognize that it is Him who has made it all
possible. To God be the glory!
Browse the newsletter to see the happenings at
FMBC. To share in our experiences, please feel free
to join us. Our doors are always open to you. It is our
sincere prayer that your life’s journey will be greatly
enriched by the “Faith Walkers’ News” and remember,
“FMBC is the place to be. FMBC is for YOU …
and for ME!”

FEBRUARY 2009 …

Sunday, February 8th - The FMBC Family celebrated our Pastor’s and Church’s First Year
Anniversary. Rev. Ricardo Handy, Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church #2 and New St.
John Baptist Church of Plaquemine, Louisiana, delivered a divine, powerful packed
message with references from Matthew 6:1-7 entitled, “The Hypocrite, The Believer, and
The Heathen.” We were blessed by the fellowship of so many friends and acquaintances
from various churches who helped share in this joyous occasion. Also, as a special salute to
our Pastor, Sis. Bernadine Senegal of New Testament Church, Rayne, LA performed a
beautiful liturgical dance to Pastor Jordan’s favorite song, “Never Would Have Made It.”
It was a moving scene.

In addition to our anniversary program, the FMBC Family also sponsored a Souvenir
Commemorative Ad Booklet which was a huge success. Thanks to all the FMBC Family,
friends, co-workers, and sponsors for your commitment and continued support.
We give all the praise and glory to God!

Kingdom Citizens,
We are now in PHASE III of our “Special
Pledge Project.” Each Kingdom Citizen was
asked to complete and sign a pledge card pledging
$600 in one lump sum payment or to pay $50 per
month. Also, a space has been added on the
regular envelopes, “Special Pledge” for
contributions in addition to your tithes and other
offerings. (If you have not filled out and turned
in your pledge card, please get a pledge card
from the table or an Usher. Thanks.)
In this phase of our ministry, we are also offering
our family, neighbors, co-workers, friends and
acquaintances a chance to share with us in this
opportunity by becoming “Friends of Faith.”
(Informational flyers and pledge cards were
given to Kingdom Citizens to pass out. More
flyers and pledge cards are available on the table,
if needed.)
As always, we thank you for
your continued support and
for your spirit of excellence in
all you do.
